Norfolk Royal
Royal Mail His name is Tango and quite famous/infamous with the Wednesday supporters.

Nice to see an away fan who doesnt just give rude gestures and abuse

I don't think that was Tango, its just another fat bloke with his shirt off.

I don't think his real name was Tango either.

My Friend whos supports Sheffield Wednesday said to look out for him, also through the game the Wednesday were chanting Tango to him

Huntley & Palmer Still, a very good turnout from the best supported club in Sheffield. Our fan base could only dream of those sorts of numbers on a Tuesday night

Last night was a Tuesday night and we outnumbered them quite considerably.

Agreed, especially considering alot remained till the very end!

Although i am not sure how many of them would have to get back for work the next day :!:

Depends where they live - I think they have a fairly large London Supporters Club

They would be the captive audience that travelled by coach then.

I thought the Wednesday fans were excellent on the whole. Some left at 6-0 but most persevered. MAny applauded their team off.
Good wit to sing 'we can see you sneaking out' when the East stand started to empty early....

The fat guy was great fun. Fat boy? Not as fat as a couple of our fans by a long chalk!

He hasnt got any friends at home so seeks them at Football matches.

i prefered him to the ones that just stick their fingers up every 5 minutes...

hes more of an entertainer, and plus, he actually managed 2 pressups even with that FAT hanging from his chest

Great fans, far better than us. Supported their team, didn't bait the opposing fans every 5 minutes like our fans. One of the only teams not to sing " where were you when you were shite" at us and we give them a bombardment of abuse. It really is cringeworthy. Why can't we just support our own team?

Don't really understand your constant hand-wringing on this kind of issue to be honest. Presumably you missed the Reading fans applauding the Tango Man as he left and applauding again the (muted) chant of we want one to our we want seven? The Wednesday fans also applauded the Reading support at one point - can't remember specifically why tho to be fair - and by the end there seemed to be some mutual respect.

I am aware of the applause which was nice, but the constant baiting is tiresome, its almost like wolves, but without the balls to back it up outside.

Deathy
SpaceCruiser Which reminds me, whatever happened to our own "superfan"? Does anyone remember him at that Swindon away match when we won with an excellent Jamie Cureton tap in and the away fans were in superb voice?

We don't have a super fan, you plum.

We'll have to feed BB0118 up and slip an E into his lemonade, see what we can create.

Silver Fox Indeed, why is everybody falling head over heels in love with a bloke who would appear to be an idiot?

He played up to the crowd and loved the attention. He was good fun.

Loved the attention says it all. Twat

It was like he was there just for the attention and not the football.

The fact he wanted his claps at the end when he was leaving, and then stayed and did the pointless 2 and a half pressups, and milked the attention even more.

No, he was an idiot, an attention seeking idiot at that

We're all posting about the guy though, aren't we? He seemed like fun even if he was an attention seeker. Prefer him to those bellends that posture the 'come-on' stuff to each other, from the safety of seperate stands, now 'they' are embarrassing!

I consider the Wednesday support the best in the country.
A few seasons ago we were 2-0 up at half time at Hillsborough and played them off the park. Second half the crowd got behind the home team to such an extent that the 3-2 turnaround was almost entirely down to them.
PS. And Hahnemann!

I agree, doing comedy press ups is a serious offence.
