Tony Le Mesmer Red/Yellow Hoops, Black shorts. 3rd kit 93/94. 8)

Absoute class kit. Have been trying to get hold of that shirt for years ....

Anyone got an XXL in mint condition for sale? Will swap for an 05-06 home shirt signed by the squad - seriously.

prostak I'm not fond of it. Since when were we a Prod team?

Am I imagining things, or did we once have a horrible red away kit with white triangles? Even that was slightly better than the chocolate orange combo.

New QPR badge is awful, yes, but their old one was a design classic and so much better than our bland mess.

 DO NOT SEARCH FOR "QPR badge" on Google images, even with safe search on!
The bottom right picture is absolutely disturbing!
Yes, moreso than our recent history of away kits

Norfolk Royal It's a good point someone made earlier. We are actually allowed to wear our home kit away from home because of The Queen apparently.

Did she say so ?
Yes, apparantley because we represent the Royal County we have been bestowed the right to wear our home kit everywhere.

Preston North End also had this right because they were the first ever football league winner.

Ironically, Reading also qualify to wear their home kit for every game in the Championship though winning the league with 106 points, previously Sunderland held this right.

Thankfully the Preston, Sunderland and Reading don't have kits that clash.

The reigning FA Cup winners also have this right but only for FA Cup games.

The right to wear our own kit away only applies if the Reading manager takes part in the annual Swan Upping on the Thames, unfortunately this has not happened since Mark McGhee objected to wearing the required uniform.
