Sal Bibbo - Biiiiiiiiibbo! And he looked like he had no neck.
Murty - Captain marvelous, only just beat Skippy into the team
Kerr - didn't see much of him but a top player. Shorey has tarnished himself in his last season here.
Wdowczyk - What a name, what a player.
A. Williams - scored against Wolves when he played for them. Also a legend
Meaker - In the team for getting an assist for Adie's own goal and general hilarity
Gilkes - Legend! Runrunrunrun Gilkesy
Parkinson - Another legend and thoroughly nice but hard as nails chap. Couple of top goals
Harper - good passer and most entertaining
Kitson - Great striker and outspoken
Morley - 20+ goals in a crap side. The only player I've ever seen score a penalty rebound with his head.

Subs:
Hahnemann - throwing the shirts
Andy Bernal - Skippy
Little - sublime skills
Quinn - great player, great goal against Wolves
Viveash - solely in case Wdowczyk gets injured so we can bring back Adrian's Wall.
Cureton - Brentford
Caskey - a player who should have achieved so much more.

Ian Royal Morley - 20+ goals in a crap side. The only player I've ever seen score a penalty rebound with his head.

A penalty rebound that was no more than 6 inches off the ground.

RichieBowman
thirtyyarder Whenever I think about this I always try and fit in 'the Rouge' somewhere, but have absolutley no idea why!!

I would not say Rouge was in my favourite Reading FC team but i will always have a soft spot for him after he came on as a sub in the Thames Valley Derby and scored two late goals to beat the Pox.

My Reading Team

Shaka/Death (Could not choose one over the other)

Lindon Jones, Aidie Williams, Darius, Mark White

Gilkes, Sanchez, Webb, Little

Friday, Senior

Subs
Death/Shaka, Jerry Williams, Doyle, Bremner and Ivar

Manager Mark Mcghee.

Fav kit 1970's blue and white hoops ie Robin Friday stylie

Fair play ! I nearly put Richie Bowman in myself - he was a legend when I started going as a nipper in the 70s. You are only one of two so far with Robin Friday - which I think says more about the Hob Nob demographic than the man's talent.

And what about Linden Jones? I remember him in a 2-1 win on the astroturf at PNE in about 1989. Went with a PNE fan and actually stood in the home terraces for some reason (not that there were many on them). Happened to mention that he was Welsh as he broke up yet another woeful PNE attack, two lads behind me heard and started a sheep shagger chant! Linden, if you are reading this, I'm sorry. And we could have done with you last weekend. We were wearing that horrible light blue HAT Painting kit and PNE had their Coloroll one on. Who were HAT Painting?! How said that I remember that.....
