I'm more interested in what side Burnley put out. With Brian Laws coming in he may take this oppotunity to look at some of the fringe players in the squad which may or may not be a good thing for us.

Ian Royal Is that your guess or what you want?

I'd be surprised if Karacan was dropped.

Very surprised if Church was dropped as well.

Gunnar does little on the bench that both Cisse and Tabb can't do and good as he has played at right back. Stick someone quick against him and he's undone. I'm assuming Burnley are capable of this.

I think Church would be pretty effective as an impact sub. Certainly more so than Rasiak. It's a cup game so I'd like to try out a different pairing without losing much.

No big deals really.

I think your right.
I would be very suprised if they put a full side out, bearing in mind that a week tonight they have a litle matter of a game against Owen Coyles NOTLOB!

Patterson and McCann both made their comebacks for Burnley res. this week and they are on the verge of signing a striker from Monaco.

Nugent's loan ends on Friday unless they can extend it.

Jonny F just said on his live chat that McD said he'd pick his strongest team and that everyone was now fit. So

Fed

Griffin
Ingi
Mills
Bertrand

McAnuff
Cisse
Karacan
The Sig

Thor
Church

Subs Hamer, Pearce, Tabb, Howard, Kebe, Long or Rasiak, Marek

The only debate is Cisse or Howard and which subs come in. We also have HRK, Bignall and Henry now

EP seem to think that Gunnar will play in midfield alongside Karacan, with Rasiak coming in for Thorvaldsson.

I do hope not....

Thor must play. He needs game time under his belt. We also need Griffin to line up as well unless he is already cup tied. The rest pick themselves.

No wonder we are doing so bad. We need a manager who makes the decisions.........

Well that's half a strong midfield. Why oh why do people keep picking Cisse. He is really poor in midfield.

If the game goes ahead. Just how much water can the playing area soak up?
