As I see it, the following needs to happen for us to be able to move forward:

SJM - FUCK OFF
Hapless Hammond - FUCK OFF
Nigel Clueless Howe - FUCK OFF

That aside, I am completely devoid of any emotion.

But you just ignore any sensible argument posed and keep on gnawing on the same old bone regardless.

So implied or actual insults are just as effective.

RoyalBlue
Focher
Archie's penalty 6 shots on target to their five. Hmm.

well that just sums up how shit our strikers and defenders are then.

But will that persuade Madejski to invest some money on a decent striker?

Like F*ck it will!

Don't worry, lets sign another loan player and not play him. Griffin has already said he has no intention of staying permanently. Loan players=dont't give a toss and no committment and lacking in fitness/match practice--just what we need.
Div 1 here we come and crowds of 8-10k. What a joke this club is becoming!

No, I usually respond to sensible arguments posed - so far none have managed to convince me that sacking Rodgers when we were 3 points above the drop and replacing him with someone who has amassed a mighty 2 points from a possible 15 was a clever move.

paultheroyal Season starts Saturday

Just do one.

Im sick of mugs posting this pish. The season started against forest months ago and we've been shite ever since. It reminds me of a teeanager refusing to do homework after being pressured by his parents " i'll do it tomorrow night, its not due in until next monday", next monday comes and you hand in a s**t piece of work after rushing it a few hours before hand and fail hard. Thats Reading FC.

I reckon that BMcD will not get the gig. A new man will come in but AFTER the transfer window shuts. Then oxf*rd SJM can say that there was no chance to sign any players permanently.

I very seldom post, but I'll offer my thoughts nonetheless

1. Rodgers was a kn0bber, with a very iffy record in the transfer market, but he should never have been sacked. If he'd stayed we'd be in better shape than this and I believe we'd have stayed up
2. McDermott should never in a million years get the job on the basis of beating the worst Liverpool side in ages and Burnley reserves
3. Madejski has done an immense amount for the club, but he should have sold a long time ago when he'd have got some decent wedge. No way will he sell at a loss, so we're stuck with him and the vileness that are the board. There are far worse chairmen than him around, although he isn't covering himself in glory over the past 18 months.
4. We have probably the worst strikeforce, back 4 (less Bertrand), central midfield, along with a highly suspect keeper in the division. That is the reason we are where we are.

No direction at the club other than very sadly down in all likelihood. Posh, Derby and assorted administration may keep us up.
No way will we beat Barnsley on Saturday, they would have to be so diabolical for us to beat them it is untrue.

RoyalBlue Whatever people think of Dellor, Gooding knows what he is talking about and he thinks we keep blowing it through a failure to take our opportunities and he is 'fearful for the rest of the season'.

As for IR arguing the defence is the problem, Gooding has just said the same as me, the failings of the forwards are what is putting the pressure on the defence.

I agree. But to be fair Long and Thor was a completely new partnership. Neither are in form or have had much opportunity to make any form yet.

But I am also very worried, IF it continues we will obviously be relegated. I just hope we turn it around on Saturday. Someone up front needs to find some form and soon. Rasiak and Church haven't scored many between them recently so I guess Long and/or Thor need to be given a chance.

Unfortunately, as you say, games are running out and we don't have the time to wait for someone to come into form. In which case we need to at least keep it tight at the back but it does sound like we were pretty poor defensively - the first goal was so early in the game I'm not sure the failing forwards argument works for that one - which they even said looked like rubbish defending.

I must admit to being very surprised that Long and Thor started up front. I didn't see that coming at all.

I was there at Elm Park Still it's all about the FA Cup this year isn't it!?

Hope so. Winning the F.A. Cup and getting our hands on some serious silverware after 139 years would make up for 10 relegations, let alone 1.

Yeah i don't even like Rasiak that much but would have thought that him or Church would start. They may both have misfired tonight, and I know I'll get slated for saying this, but time on the pitch is what both need if either of them are going to start getting us goals.

My god there's some utter shit on this thread.

We had a run of tricky league games, that ends on Saturday.

Dry you eyes, grow a pair, back the boys.
