I have to agree I don't think we've had this many injuries for a long time either that or that are squad is so much smaller that the injuries are more obvious. I think we'll finish in the top 12 and maybe have a chance of getting in to play offs but nothing more than that. It's very early days though so lets see where we are after 15 games.

Attention smart arses slagging off Bryn - He's not a centre half!!

What other options have we got exactly?! Has it occured to you that Pomoey are a pretty decent team & Mills & Pearce would probably have struggled just as much? Christ on a bike the pair of them looked utterly woeful last week - against a team that are favs for relegation!!

yeh but he is still rubbish

He's not a centre back but he'll always give 100%. From the list of available players, who do you think should be at centre back with Pearce?

Nearly cost us another goal.

Like I said.

But what's the option? It's not his fault that he's not a centre back.

I don't think he was worse than anyone else - I actually thought Jem was worse. But did any of them play well last week? The only ones that did were IMO Griff & Jobi.

This is exactly the problem we need another defender badly, we can't expect to just wing it all season with what we've got.

QPR 3-0 up against Sheffield United. They look like they may be the team to beat this season.

Pearce is dreadful

Probably the most untalented centre half i have seen in a Reading shirt.

He wins a lot in the air but doesn't have any common sense or composure to actually aim those headers at a team mate.

Whenever I have seen Pearce he has been poor. He reminds me of John Mackie - not quite good enough for the league he is playing in.

Oh well at least we are not bottom with Preston being hammered.
