It's Luke Moore from West Brom. They wanted Walters and offered us Moore as 'part-exchange'. Local papers said you were the other club interested.

In isolation not as good but a decent target striker to complement our shorties + a decent left back + a decent CB + a pot full of leftover money to keep JM happy > what we've lost.

That's not a wind-up though. Seriously, that's what our local journo's said. Moore was going to come to us on loan anyway, but then we bought Jason Scotland, and he wasn't needed. You were the next club in line and WBA wanted him out 'cos Roberto can't guarantee him first team footy in the Prem.
He's on £20k a week as well, so reckon you'll be paying £10k.

Fordham isn't excited about the signing, and mentions it makes sense, I suppose.
