FiNeRaIn Love harps, big eff off to some of you morons on here who underrated him for so long.

So he scores his first gol in about 2 years and now he's underrated.

Just over 9 months actually........

James Harper and Darren Caskey, two players with heaps of ability and no intelligence - total waste.

RoyalBlue But another very good player that Madejski wasn't prepared to finance!

Harper seemed to feel it was Rodgers who wanted him out. Whatever, if he was a top wage earner he was no way worth it.

He was one of our best players in the years he was here, widely recognized by anyone with a brain. Harper at his peak is twice as good as the garbage we have there now.

So why did Sheffield United ship him out then?
Like most of the players from our class of 2005-07 who have left. They all wanted away because they felt this club was beneath them, but none of them have quite hit those dizzy heights again.

And we all know the pressures that Rodgers was under to reduce the wage bill! Wouldn't mind betting that he would happily have kept him if the budget set by the tight one had permitted it. And Harper was and still is a much better player than many in our squad.

Left past his peak and some players need a change he's 30 now, not a spring chicken, his form went down hill in the relegation year, but so did people like doyle who took little stick in comparison. Sadly people let the form of the relegation team and the second half of the season after cloud their judgment over a player who spend the best part of a decade here who gave us some great memories and superb performances.

Never understood the personal attacks on Harper. Yes his form tailed off towards end of time with RFC but in tandem with Sidwell he was part of the most successful midfield we ever had. And he always came across as enthusiastic and passionate about the club.

As for celebrating, why not? It's not as though he scored a goal that will send us down a la Dennis Law.

Even though we have had 55% of the ball, we have only had 2 shots, of which only 1 was on target; Hull in control of the game.
