Just seen on Twitter that Leigertwood has spent most of the day showing some humanity and holding his own in a bit of a Q&A session with many Reading fans.

I'm astonished by it.

Coupling this with his recent run of form and I would very much like him to remain with us beyond the length of his loan.

Yeah he seems to have replied to everyone (including me!).

Nice to see a footballer in touch with his fans.

What is the point in including cup games when extrapolating the points for a full season? We got no points today, just as we got no points when we beat the Baggies....

So a stick on defeat beckons next up against QPR when he won't be playing!

No, because the "ppg" show what it would mean if they were all league games. It's hardly fair to ignore 20% of his games

It's totally sensible to leave out games against teams not in our league where there were no points played for. No doubt you'd have left it out if we'd lost against WBA.

But that's Snowballistics for ya.

I have been including cup games since McDermott took over.

I didn't under Coppell because we fielded reserve sides.

He's at least been consistant, though only Snowball in the known statistical universe includes cup games (including those won in extra time) to extrapolate league points.

He's also the only known statistician to include International games/goals when rating players.

Still, as I said can't fault him for consistency....

And that is all we need to know

I could not give a oxf*rd how many corners he has taken or assists he has.

And if I ignored an extra time game's results, you'd have a go for that.

You play a tie, you win it or lose or draw it. The only exception to a "result" is I would never include a penalty shoot out cos it's a lottery.

I think it would be farcical to say "we drew at Liverpool".

I would argue its hardly fair to include win against a mid table league 2 side

we haven't lost a game he has played in fine, but don't then extrapolate that up to ppg for the league. We need to take yesterdays result "with a pinch of salt" as far as the league is concerned.

As for not including cup games under coppell coz he fielded "reserves", or what I would call fringe players. You think that would have been the team we would have played if it had been a league game yesterday? Ivar? KRK? and arguably church?
