Cureton like and good to have a player like that in the team. I honestly think he can do the business at the highest level next season for us

My favourite post...

Overrated, nowhere near as good as Guly, Lambert, Barnard, Connolly - not what we need.

Serious question

Are we better doing what we do now, Roberts-Hunt to contain,
maybe get a goal, for about 65 minutes, then on comes Alf as
a sub.

Or longer-term, would Alf be even more effective playing for 90 minutes?

I had to laugh after he joined he hired a van and got his mates to help him move from Rotherham into the "mansch". He's not used to the celeb status or the pay packet

This might well be one of my more stupid ideas but:

Superalfiefragilisticexpialfiedocious!
Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious,
If you sing it loud enough you'll always sound precocious,
Superalfiefragilisticexpialfiedocious!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!

Because he was afraid to speak when he was just a lad
His father gave his nose a tweak and told him he was bad
But then one day he learned a word That saved his achin' nose
The biggest word you ever heard And this is how it goes: Oh!

Superalfiefragilisticexpialfiedocious!
Even though the sound of it
something quite atrocious
If you sing it loud enough you'll
always sound precocious
Superalfiefragilisticexpialfiedocious!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!

He traveled all around the league and everywhere he went
He'd use his word and all would say "There goes a clever gent"
When Knights and Russian Billionaires invite me out for tea
I say me special word and then they sing along with me. Oh,

Superalfiefragilisticexpialfiedocious!
Even though the sound of it
something quite atrocious
If you sing it loud enough you'll
always sound precocious
Superalfiefragilisticexpialfiedocious!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!
Um diddle diddle diddle, um diddle ay!

- I heard that Reading are seriously thinking about him. They are welcome to him.

- I honestly don't know why a club trying to build for the Premier League would sign a player who has been playing all of his football in League Two for the past 6 years, and before that scored precisely 5 goals in his one and only season at the heady heights of League One.

- No thanks. If he was that good, why has he not left yet?

- Overrated, nowhere near as good as Guly, Lambert, Barnard, Connolly - not what we need.

- He's just a good finisher, no pace, just imagine a League two Lee Trundle that is why no-one has picked him up.

- Because he's so slow he makes our strikers look like Usain Bolt. <--- His 2nd makes this even more

 :D 8)

TBF, his scoring record this season has been no better than David Connolly...

... 2 goals each at St Marys.

Class!

As I have said before. ALF is a much better option to come off the bench than any of our other strikers when we need a goal.

Not disputing that he is the best sub when we are chasing a goal.

Question was whether he should start?

Well, no. Because there is no guarantee that if he started we wouldn't need someone to come off the bench, and as the games are panning out at the moment it seems that him not starting is working. I thought I made that clear.
