7-0 isn't bad against a League Two side.

I think it's always important to see your strikers getting into the habit of hitting the target and finding the net in pre-season.

I am seriously impressed by how we are playing today; it really bodes well for the season to come. Well done Reading you are doing us all proud.

MmmMonsterMunch It's criminal this boy doesn't play more. I feel for him.

I actually expect the partnership next season to be Pog and LeFondre to be honest.

Personally I think Pog / Roberts. Alfie should be 3rd choice though for sure.

With Roberts suspended for the first two games, he may not get a look in. If the Pog and ALF play well and bag a couple between them in those first two games, Roberts could potentially find himself warming the bench.

TBH Roberts doesn't seem to have a particularly impressive scoring record at PL level, so I'd be just as happy if someone plays well enough to force him to be a bench player lending his experience to close out / turn around games in the last 15 - 20 minutes.

Not sure ALF will be ahead of Hunt. He wasn't last season. Interesting Times.

Genius. A player that works his balls off for us and we treat him like a joke. Not trying is worth abuse possibly, but someone that clearly cared about the club?

I think a hat-trick in twelve minutes may suggest he's most certainly above League 2 level.

Expect to be disappointed. Roberts and Hunt were both ahead of him last season, and on many occasions Church was preferred. Can't see pre-season changing that.

+ 1
Various “how sh*t must you be” chants after Church’s goals, led by a sweaty fat kid who looked like a young Timothy Spall. If your IQ even equalled your BMI, you’d realise this is counter-productive.

Never understood the need for fans to always have a scapegoat, especially in pre-season.

Good first performance today. Fantastic technique for Obita’s goal.

I think potentially offending one of our own players is more the issue.

I thought that was a superb performance today; having watched many turgid, god-awful pre-season matches in the past, that was streets ahead in terms of fitness, technique and teamwork.

In the first half both the new boys looked excellent, and in the second, the younger lads showed real hunger to impress.

Frankly, posters on here making oh so smart sniddy remarks about individual players or the team as a whole are just total oxf*rd trolls of the worst order; "Look at me, look at me"....

Here's a thought.....support your team, or oxf*rd off.
