genome Looks like Church has found his level.

Genius. A player that works his balls off for us and we treat him like a joke. Not trying is worth abuse possibly, but someone that clearly cared about the club?

Down point of being at the game was the 'funny' boo boys singing 'How sh*t you must be cos Churchy just scored' and 'How sh*t you must be cos Churchy got three'.

He played well today and didn't deserve the stick he got. There were far less effective players on the pitch, including some of our high profile signings.

genome I apologise if I offended you in any way.

Truly, I am.

Don't apologise to me, apologise to yourself..you're like an inflatable boy with a pin.

That, and LeFondre's second was pretty fine.

Say it enough times and you might start believing.....

(oh and it is a simile, not a metaphor - the use of the word "like" should have given it away to a genius such as you)

Good day out
Good game
Thought keown and hector had very good games
Obita looked bigger and stronger a year on hope Brian keeps him with us this season rather than loan him out
Church took his goals well still not to sure if it's in our or his best interest to stay here
Antonio played well but looked like someone who knew he was in his last week
Overall a good runout for the lads

genome  @ anyone who takes it more than light-hearted banter.

Banter maybe if it was directed at the opposition, or the lino (who received his fair share and dealt with it admirably), or pretty much anyone other than one of your own hard-working team.

Yes, Church hasn't lived up to his early promise but no-one can deny the effort he puts in and the fact that he clearly loves the club. Whether he stays or goes, I for one will be hoping he comes good and proves all the haters wrong.

You on the other hand are an embarrassment, and a fat smelly one at that.
