Terrific win. Thought a hammering was on the cards first half, great 2nd half though.

Missed the first half and from the highlights, glad I did. Defense looked at sea. Caught complete second half and we didn't look all that bad. Still got incredibly lucky with the ball coming back off the post. Morrison made some stout tackles.

UUUUUUURRRRRRRZZZZZZ!

What a difference 45 minutes make.

After Everton's goal, people spoke about relegation, no some mention climbing to 14th after the game in hand! Easy to panic when things aren't going well, but we've always stayed in touching distance of safety and that gives us a chance.

Superb win today against a very good, PL hardened team. Great day for ALF too, he's been limited to chances but he's taking them and that's all you can ask.

How do you know its a man, could be a clueless woman!

Even a clueless woman would need to be on drugs to take anything positive from this performance

You went very quiet second half! Lucky the players aren't so negative.

The positive was that we couldn't get much worse and that despite being terrible we were still in the game at only 1-0, with Everton having been profligate and the ref on our side to encourage us.

I was watching the match. Delighted to be proved wrong and get the victory despite Everton hammering us in the 1st alf. Still think we will be relegated though.

You're expecting our under pressure manager to make two defensive changes after we won our first game of the season?
