Divvy We were talking to a couple of old boys at the game today and they claimed Shorey had been dropped and fined by the club. Whatever the reason, we're not missing him at the moment, and Kelly can play left-back as well. I could have easily spent the whole afternoon sat talking to them about the club and their memories of Robin Friday and football back in the late 50's to 80's. Completely different world. The result just capped a great day all in all.

Exactly. Everyone knows the club is bigger and better than any one player. At least guthrie ate some humble pie and realised the whole is greater than the individual. If the rumours about shorey's drink problem are true, then he needs to take a leaf out of gareth bales' book. He said he's t-total while he has a playing career and will make up for later!

BrockManson Shorey pissed is still a better Premiership full back than Ian Harte.
If it wasn't for Feds, there'd be one hell of a lot more goals scored against the team. So many teams now target attacks down the right and are completely bypassing the static Harte.

Woodcote Royal
If these rumours are true, Shorey may have played his last game in the top flight.
