Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but by sticking with McD during that bad patch around October time, Anton may well have cost us a PL place next season.

We are so far ahead of where we were 2 months ago it's a little embarrassing.

Ian Royal What a performance. Shame about the fragile defence, but we never waivered, we never doubted and we did the job. You can say Fulham could have had a hatful, but we could also have had a hatful more. And we did it playing great football. I am absolutely delighted and gutted I didn't bother getting a ticket. Hope the ones who went enjoyed that as much as I did.

More stats for Zac.

Fulham 49% - 51% Reading
Passing
Fulham 79% - 82% Reading

The promises are being delivered! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Keep the faith, Man City will be a hard game though, don't expect miracles for that game

honestly that could have and should have been 4-0 or at worst 4-1, shoddy defending kept them in the game, we had almost all of the big chances and we controlled the game. i am so excited about our future with NA, we are playing such good football. :D 8) :)

P!ssed Off Jem back to his best. First goal in a year. Reckon that injury by dirty Leeds did a massive amount of damage.

Candidate for MotM with a goal, assist and 94% passing accuracy

How often this season have we had three players put in such good performances that picking a MotM is really hard. Any other game and any one of McCarthy, Robson-Kanu and Karacan would have walked it.

Winch, if we'd got rid of BMac in October, we wouldn't have got Adkins in charge.

This is the performance that was vital to give the whole club a lift going into the champ.

Can't wait to see this Reading team against McDermott next season.

I don't think the vast majority of fans would have at all accepted McD being sacked around December time though, people barely accepted it in March.

Also, what Ian Royal said RE Adkins

Absolutely, we had look to finish on a high.

Doubt we'll beat City but could still finish with a win against West Ham. PLEASE.

No way of testing it. Why do you keep bringing stuff up like this. I could also say that had McD been here we would still be in the prem in great style (having won every game since Adkins took over). This statement is as valid as yours.

I'm totally neutral to who the manager is. I'm guessing i'll be arguing the same thing when Adkins leaves

If this would have happened we probably wouldn't have won the player and manager of the month in January and wouldn't have won 4 out of the 6 games we have won.

Anton has definitely cost us a place in the PL next season

Adkins was so the right choice for this job, in the short time he has been we have moved a huge amount from being a hoof ball side, after all football is a very simple game, just pass it to another team mate and to make it easy all your teamates will wear the same colour shirts !! you cant take away what McDermotts achievements were in getting us into the prem, but was so out of his depth with tactics and managerial experience, and should have been removed earlier.

Agreed, McD did well with the squad we had to get the Prem, but the tactics he used don't work and NA has got his tactics spot on.

Trust you lot getting all excited by that.
You fail to realise that Fulham were already on the beach, typical Reading to start winning when it's too late!

Neither Reading or Fulham had anything to play for so your point is invalid.

Yes let's all get carried away with how wonderful we're going to be next season and how today proves we don't need any signings in the summer

Who said we don't need signings?

We need a number 10 who is a specialist behind the striker
