SPARTA Not sure who the deal has been agreed with yet but it's all done, and the manager and players were told before the game.

I asked Adkins: Have you got new owners? He smiled, and said "I can't make any comment about on that at this moment in time." #readingfc

Posted that shortly after @west4street made reference to it on twitter. Now that's a coincidence.

That isn't where I got it, no. But here are the tweets I think you mean, and no mention about the players and manager being told before the game, which they were?

A few posters here know where I got it from. Either way, it sounds positive and in good time too. Lots to feel optimistic about finally.

Check his timeline mate. He mentioned that players and staff were told before kick off. But agree, great news.

Substantial bid for Hobbs on table at Hull (won't come off though) so in light of mr watts' earlier tweet perhaps something has been signed and we could expect an announcement next week.....

it was being discussed on twitter last night that it was agreed in principle. i was hoping tim dellor would have got a sniff of it today but he was told nothing. i can't remember who it was but they said an announcement was planned early next week. to be honest, as long as there's money available for adkins then i don't care when we hear it's official.

When asked if the club has new owners, Adkins smiled and replied: "I can't make any comment on that at this moment in time."

The new investors have apparently infiltrated this board to guage support. They are using the pseudonym Dave-Royal but, unfortunately, they are using the Monty Python 'Gibberish - English' phrase book. Please be nice to him/them or the finance may disappear. Just thought I'd let you know!
