Is there any truth to the reports I'm hearing that Reading's 'ultra' element, the TTC, sacrificed a lamb outside St Andrews yesterday? Sickening if true.

Having supported Reading for over 30 years now I can't believe that I've been taking my life, and that of my son, in my hands by attending games.

I have to thank the Chronic for this insightful piece of journalism and it'll certainly make me reconsider whether to renew our season tickets

Bet the EP are loving all this.... Also wasn't Maurice O'Brien associated with 210's radio coverage of the Royals way back in the late 80s and early 90s? Him and Steve Beddow used to cover games I'm sure....

wow is all i can say after reading the article. pathetic journalism at its absolute worst. our club is famous for being a top family club in england. sir john and our PR team have a real task at hand. luckily its only a shit tier paper that reported these falsities and not a national paper.

No, that's a load of rubbish, don't pay attention to the rumours. It was a calf.

1871 not 1998 I didn't realise Pervy Maurice was still there.

That's not the first time that's been mentioned. What's the story? Sounds like a much better front pager than this nonsense. Operation Yewtree comes to the Reading Chronicle... Of course there could be no truth in it, but he doesn't usually allow that to stop his paper from running with a story, so I doubt it'll be any skin off his nose if we talk about his alleged pervy past.

Thank you Chronicle for the warning.

I was going to go on Tuesday night to the Barnsley home game but now that I know Reading FC have the most viscous fans in England I am too scared to go.

Mind you in the 200 or so games I have attended in the last few years the worst that has happened to me so far was when one of the local violent thugs spilt some ketchup on me from his hamburger - I was so upset that I nearly choked on my prawn sandwich.

This happened to me last week at the Derby match! The bastard viciously offered to buy me a beer! Is this enough to constitute a spate?
