winchester_royal The Fordster announced last night that Bubdksbuebgiwgre was flying in this week to hopefully sign on the dotted line. If it was actually true that the Thais were buggering off then the club would be doing some mega PR damage limitation and leaking like a 20 year old durex.

My source tells me that their plane was accidentally diverted to Leicester .....

Royal Ginger You mean like Nick Hammond telling the press that we're going to develop the youth and maybe sign a striker...

Maintaining Cat 1 status is considerably more expensive and important than a couple of signings.

Jonathan "In the know" Low should be able to clear up everyone's questions on today's webchat.

It's when they'll be revealing our new kit, as revealed by me over on Club Policies.

From the Tilehurst End podcast released today, Charles Watts indicated that all appears to be in order, the FAPPT (or whatever the tests are) are mere formalities and all being well, the take over could be complete in a couple of weeks, max. There's no doubts from the likes of Hammond, who is well aware who Bunditkitsada was even before the takeover was mentioned. It appears that we would be in safe hands....this time.

But, as ever, we await for Dave Royal to give us the proper scoop.

The fact that Royston is being moved on is a good sign

Been debating whether or not to post this in an open forum for some time, a few people on here know my IRL and know I have absolutely nothing to gain by making stories up and I have never claimed to be ITK, I live on the other side of the world but am Reading born and bred, have been a Reading supporter for a long time and on here in various guises for far longer than I care to admit.

I have heard (from what I believe to be) a very reliable source that the US offer is for £40 million. It is enough to pay the debts, invest in the team and buy the hotel but it has been blocked by JM over his rent free period

The US offer gives JM 1 year rent free and to be president. JM is holding out for 5 years of free living in the penthouse!

The offer is committed to getting us back to the Premier League and investing in team and building a £20M academy.

As I say, I have absolutely no reason to make things up, I personally believe this is the best deal for the club and whilst I (and I am sure all Reading fans) will be grateful to JM for what he has done I think its crazy that these conditions have blocked what would be a great deal for the club. I sincerely hope that JM sees the light.
