PieEater Not just 3-0 but only 3 shots on target, why do we bother with a goalkeeper?
more to the point, why do the opposition bother with a keeper?

They're taking turns.

They're trying to make Gunter look less bad by making as many mistakes as him.

Martin41 I just don't get how so many still rate Adkins.
He said things have to change......yet nothing did.
Never wanted him, if we slip up on sat , time to go!

And just how the f*ck is he meant to change things when there are f*ck all alternatives available in the squad - thanks to the complete and utter incompetence of those who were supposedly in charge of the business side of 'one of the best run clubs in the country'?!

I really hope Adkins tells the owners to stick their job due to the complete lack of support from them. When the next mug manager then takes over and also fails, the idiots who are blaming Adkins for the current situation may finally start to realise that they need to be looking a little higher up the club for those responsible.

Well they paid for a club cheap. Shame they appear to have got what they paid for.

I haven't spoken out yet against Adkins but with the way it is going again tonight I don't see a choice. We are shipping a lot of goals and faced with a tough trip to a team capable of scoring a few goals. So why did he put out an attacking lineup? He should have made sure the wide areas were covered defensively and pushed our wide players so far up the pitch leaving Gunter and Obita exposed. The midfield should have sat deep and soaked up some pressure whilst trying to hit them on the counter attack.

We should have set ourselves up to not concede instead of being the team making the running, it is just naive tactics, almost straight from a computer game. We didn't have the personnel to make a significant change to the defence so it had to be a tactical change and I don't think Adkins is capable of that.

RoyalBlue Well at least the Adkins out brigade will be happy!

Meanwhile it is starting to look like Khunying Sasima is no more willing/able to invest than our previous owners. How else can the complete lack of activity in the temporary loan market be explained?

well they could well be owning a L1 side if they don`t act soon

They probably won't worry - far less resistance then to the property development that they no doubt have in mind.

I'm beginning to wonder whether Madejski lost half his fortune when he responded to a letter from the brother of the ex president of Nigeria offering him half of the untold wealth that has been stashed away in return for his bank details!

Serious issues I fear. Last 7 games :

0-3 (so far)
0-3
1-3
0-0
3-3
0-2
0-1

P7 W0 D2 L5 F4 A15 - relegation form no doubt.

And what players did he have available to make that defence minded lineup? Everyone would have been howling for his blood if he had tried to go defensive when we have such poor defensive players/options.
