Mid Sussex Royal
Huntley & Palmer Seeing as we have direct links with four teams left in:

Blackburn - Yakubu
West Brom - Steve Clarke
Bradford - Parky
Liverpool - Rodgers

It's bound to be Utd/Preston or Arsenal away

Not Arsenal on that basis then as Brian is there

Nah, don't really count him as a scout. May as well be the kit man, least he would be on the bench

The cynic would suggest that Liverpool/Arsenal/Man Utd will all be split up and get home draws - the FA trying to regain some prestige for the competition which mostly means rows of empty seats and second string teams these days, even some Champ teams bin it off.

We're due a home draw - anyone outside those big 3 are doable at our place.

Ascotroyal83 The draw is on Monday at half 7 on BBC1 before Preston v Man United so you don't have to watch the One show

I'm sure I saw its 7:35 on the one show?

Anyone but Blackburn away. Ball-ache to get to.

Schards#2 In order of preference

Bradford H
Bradford A
Blackburn H
West Brom H
Villa H
Blackburn A
Liverpool H
Man Utd H
Man Utd A
West Brom A
Villa A
Arsenal H
Liverpool A
Arsenal A

At this stage, the priority has to be the optimum chance of qualifying for a first semi final for 85 years rather than a big day out and being on live TV. We've done that many times in my lifetime but we've never been to a semi final in it.

I'm putting it out there, Blackburn away is far from the worst option

All 4 quarter finals are live on TV. We seem to play better away and the atmosphere is certainly much better away so Bradford away would be great . Otherwise away to Villa , West Brom or Blackburn would be fine.

We've had 3 away wins against teams in our own league, so keeping with that trend it will be Blackburn away and a feasible route into the semi finals. Worst case scenario is a thrashing at home to Liverpool, Arsenal or United.

We have never won at Blackburn and only beaten them once in our history. Still better than Arsenal 12 games 12 defeats!

My prediction for the draw - with associated meejay reactions:

Liverpool v Arsenal: The big one; 2 giants meet and will the holders prevent Stevie Gee from winning the FA Cup on his birthday....mouth watering.

Man Utd v Bradford: The romance of the FA Cup lives on! Will plucky Bradford usurp the mighty if flawed Manchester giant? The dream continues....

West Brom v Aston Villa: All Premier League local derby between 2 teams struggling at the wrong end of the table for local bragging rights in a distraction from their poor league form. Interesting with sub plots...

Blackburn v Reading: Meh.

Can't say I share the fear of playing Liverpool.
In terms of getting through I'd rather pull them out than Albion under Pulis.

We usually get West Brom at some point in the cup...

Want - Bradford away or home. (the return of the legend).

Like I said before and after we drew Derby, we want the most winnable draw possible and we got a winnable one with them. I'm hoping for Bradford away, then again we might have more chance against Man Utd than them at the moment  Villa away would probably be my second choice.

Almost totally agree - except I'd be happier with WBA (a) than playing Liverpool and Man Utd. Like you I want to get a semi at least

Previous QF appearances:

1901 - Spurs (h) 1-1, 0-3
1927 - Swansea (a) 3-1
2010 - Villa (h) 2-4
2011 - Man City (a) 0-1

I missed the first three.
