I'd like: Al-Habsi; Gunter, Hector, Ferdinand/McShane, Obita; Tshibola, Williams, Quinn; McCleary, Liburd, Hurtado. Subs: Bond, McShane/Cooper, Taylor, Fernandez, Piazon, John, Blackman

We'll get: Al-Habsi; Gunter, Hector, Ferdinand/Cooper, Taylor; Tshibola, Fernandez, Williams; Piazon, HRK, John. Subs: Bond, McShane, Obita, Quinn, McCleary, Hurtado, Blackman

I'm sure Everton will be doing the same thing

01 Robles
38 Pennington (Barkley - 45' )
05 Stones
06 Jagielka
08 Oviedo
17 Besic
15 Cleverley
07 McGeady (Deulofeu - 45' )
14 Naismith
11 Mirallas (McCarthy - 110' )
10 Lukaku

As good as a first-team at Barnsley in the last round.

I am reliably informed Stones and Lukaku won't play.

RoyalRuss86 Clarke won't be making that many changes, not a chance, he will be taking this cup very seriously and Everton are on a good run of form and scoring lots of goals! Back four will remain the same, possibly Al Habsi to come in but both keepers are terrible so that doesn't matter too much.

Vydra will play and possibly Blackman, however I didn't go to Bristol but I hear that he was not playing to his best after his goal his head went down and wasn't doing what he had been the weeks prior, so maybe a rest for him would be good.

I am looking forward to seeing the likes of Hurtado and Piazon given a chance so maybe they will come in. I am excited either way!

3-1 Reading

Did Clarke not state he will be make numerous changes

Is Samuel back from his injury already?

Very attack-minded midfield!

Thought I saw Samuel appeared for the u21s recently? Perhaps not....

I'd expect to see Alex, Piazon, John and Hurtado all get a go. Blackman's fitness seems to be getting noted as being great this year and Williams has just gotten back in the side so should be pretty fresh....

I did wonder if a midfield like that would get overrun..

Bond, Hector, Obita, Quinn, John, Hurtado, Blackman

Christ this is hard with McCleary, John, Hurtado, Piazon and Vydra all needing games.

Al Flapsi

Taylor (/Obita if Taylor still has a knock.)
McShane
Hector
Gunter

Fernandez
Norwood
Tshibola

John
Piazon
Hurtado

Apparently Piazon played striker when he came on against Bristol so I fancy him to play there tomorrow. Don't know why so many people have him in the midfield three, thought he was more of an attacking player?

Is Simon Cox injured?
Virtually all the above suggested squads omit Cox, is this is a match where Cox would expect to play off someone like Blackman or HRK? (not saying that this would be a good opition) but it does imply that Cox is not even figuring in "supporters" selection let only the manager's squad. :? :?:
