HRK did exactly what he does for Wales, playing up front and holding the ball up so that others can come in to the game. Problem is Wales have Gareth Bale and we have Matej Vydra.

You have to laugh, when Clarke was here a perfromance like that and the general views on here would be about his failings with style of play. subs etc.........but now we have the messiah back here this latest defeat is full of "good effort" and effort was just about all it was.

Yes we had a lot of the ball, but Wolves with their recent record got the goal and were confident that we would not be able to score, our miserable total of 3 shots on goal with 60% of the ball rather shows what they rightly thought of our striking ability. So we take off Vydra , the alledged £2.5m (loan) striker, then play for 15 minutes without a recognised, out and out striker. His replacement, the excellant John puts 2 crosses in that the unchallenged Wolves back 4 clear easilly.

Accepting that Quinn had good game against Blackburn at left back, we leave Taylor, probaly our best one, on the bench and keep arguably our "work horse" midfielder stranded in the defensive role.

The major good point that came out of the game is that John has to start, for me he was brilliant, direct going past defenders a real bright light .

Oh yes McDermott out ..........................

Sutekh Immediate changes needed.
3. Get a good quality experienced goalkeeper

What`s that got to do with us losing today?

Can anyone answer these questions?
Why do so many ex-Reading players score against us?

Why do the Royals help so many teams to end their unwanted runs?

Nothing per se, although i do think he perhaps could have been more commanding on occasions today, but generally we cannot spend games blooding a youngster in such a key position as there is too much not right about his game at this moment in time.

Royal Rother Decent performance.

Everyone looked capable and confident on the ball, and in each other.

It's coming together.

I didn't see anything new today, bit miffed by Mccleary on left and Blackman on right, that didn't work, Vydra looks out of sorts and has had a fair crack of the whip, change needed ..

Agreed Re: Hector, you only have to look at his gangsta haircut to take a guess at his attitude. Bin off of, he can go back to Chelsea reserves. Give Cooper some game time.

Tend to agree, he lacks urgency at times, Cooper hasn't done anything wrong when he's had a chance (especially Everton game)

semtex1871 (McDonut looking over the top of his specs with head at weird angle)
"We had plenty of possession"
"Some great triangles of play"
"At the moment, we're taking it one match at a time, that's all we can do"
"We move on"

Great triangles and possession don't equal points ..

Silver Fox Looking forward to people ignoring everything HRK has done so far and just concentrating on that miss

Everything he's done?!
Tbf it's not that much so it's pretty easy to ignore

I think we should stop playing him altogether unless we can sign Gareth Bale to play alongside him
