Really don't understand this one, what with Stacey and Fosu waiting in the, erm, wings. Oh well, sounds fairly decent, so good luck to 'im and all that.

Fox Talbot
genome Good signing

Not another bloody winger (position noticeably undisclosed in the above).

Get a decent striker with some kind of goalscoring record, a left back and that fella Moore off Leicester.

You say that but five players running up the touchline on one side and five on the other is certainly going to confuse the opposition.

Good to see we're not going down the Steve Clarke route of signing anyone we can afford regardless of whether they'll improve the team or not

Beerens, Meite and Harriott isn't it? Add McCleary to that and you've got your 4 wingers.

Fosu and Stacey haven't been given squad numbers so they will be going out on loan.

Sounds like he has lots of pace, very much a confidence player. Great when he's full of it, and awful when he's not. In short he sounds like Jimmy Kebe.

Excellent. Quick and scores goals, Charlton should never have let him out on loan last season, stupid club.

So that's Harriot, Meite, McCLeary and Beerens for the wings. Good cover on both sides and good balance of experience and youth.

Fosu, Stacey and Tanner now surely surplus and will be sent on loan.

Get a CB, a striker and FB cover and we're done.

Wait till the end of August to see if the MF is up to it too.

We could be a very exciting side when all the dust settles.

Swift will be playing centrally. Stam has said all along he wants pace on the flanks.

Transfermarkt compares him to

Harry Bunn (HTAFC)
Callum Robinson (PNE)
Jacob Murphy (NCFC)

WhoScored just says this

Can't moan with this

For a while now we've all been saying we need more wingers.... apart from McCleary we haven't really had any for ages

Aside from being outmuscled off the ball, passing, crossing and shooting he sounds like a pretty decent going forward. Can't take Whoscored as gospel though (sorry snowball but stats aren't everything).

The Charlton fans think he's decent on his day, and as with most wingers it seems he blows hot and cold. Sounds alright, although not the most exciting signing ever.

We have a very young squad. What is the average age, anyone done the maths?

Suggest that if we can get ourselves to mid table security this season then we might be looking at some very promising seasons to follow.

If we do well and players do well the owners will see an opportunity and sell them. We won't be able to build a squad with the Thais.

If you include those that had squad numbers last season but don't now - 23.

Examples? And don't use Tish as no one wanted him to leave, expect for the player himself and when a bit of £5m came in, we would be crazy to turn that down.
