From Despair To Where?
Nameless
From Despair To Where? Bournemouth apparently looking to resign Matt Ritchie. That won't be cheap.

Newcastle have said it has to be worth their while so they won’t be giving any discounts.
Josh King to Saints potentially, last chance to cash in on him. Why Saints would pay now rather than getting him for free in the summer not too sure...

Given his scoring record this season, I'm amazed anyone in the Premiership is interested in him especially when he's OOC in the summer. Fair enough, his goalscoring record in the Premiership is ok for a perennial relegation struggler but he's Shane Long without the work ethic.

Strangely enough, the deal for King to move to Southampton involves Long moving to Bournemouth

Shame / Glad we don't get to play them again, as it would be nice to give him a return to the Madstad. But also, don't want him to beat us.

Might meet them in the play-offs.

An out and out trier to replace a non-trier; makes sense for Bournemouth although Tindall has said that King definitely won't be leaving in this window-what does he know? He's only the manager..

Having signed Ben Pearson it looks as though Bournemouth are trying to be more aggressive in their play.

Watford ahead, Deeney penalty.

Watford have had a lot of penalties recently - they also scored penalties against Barnsley and Stoke

I'm smelling a Watford collapse here. They've hardly been in great form and, coach doesn't seem great, and are fairly toothless upfront bar all the penalties they get awarded. Would be useful for us if they'd obligingly go on a bad run.

Hate to imagine what Deeney and Gray’s combined wages are

Really not well liked by the Watford fans, particularly Gray. Deeney only scored 1 goal (aside from penalties) all season in 17 appearances. Gray with 1 in 15

Its a cunning tactic that promotions are built on. Gray runs into box, falls over, Deeney takes penalty.

Neither Watford or Swansea score enough goals. No reason why we can’t finish above both of them. Norwich and Brentford are another matter.

Hopefully Sheff Wed or Millwall can do us a favour tonight.
