So four players possibly back from injury but four players ruled out with covid. Fukk me this season just feels like it’s ending in relegation.

So so agree with this. It feels like climbing Everest in flip-flops (not that I have done that for ages).

Insane injuries, FFP....and now a covid outbreak. Jeez.... And the possibility of moving the "150th birthday game" as well.
Can things get any worse ?

I feel for the club. Lots planned on Saturday and I think a lot of us would have liked seeing the ground almost full

I’ll be amazed if it gets postponed…despite it being the obvious (and sensible) thing to do!!

Will all depend on who is actually available - if we are left with essentially playing a mix of u18/u23 and maybe a couple of seniors then the potential damage the obvious defeat could cause to the season is potentially worse than lost revenue - the club *should* be insured against a cancellation anyway.

No idea how many QPR have out but they have had 2 games canned now.

Where does it end though? Surely at some point you just have to tell the teams to get on with it? All of the Championship sides have youth squads that players can be selected from so why not just get on with the football? Yes it sucks for us that we have first team players out but I am pretty sure the majority of teams will be in our position at some point.

I don’t agree on the basis that players will now be receiving boosters which should lessen the spread of covid. If our squad is devastated by injury and covid the game should be postponed. We cannot afford to play really weak sides for winnable games.

Very much hoping it’s off as I really could do with my mother dog sitting while I go to the theatre, instead of her going to the game.

In normal times the club probably would have been insured against cancellation. In Covid times finding cover might have been difficult and/or prohibitively expensive.

Zammo Game off

It’s the right call but desperately disappointing for the club and lots of us who were really looking forward to the game in front of a near sell out.

Tickets can be switched to the Coventry game in Feb. Good call so hopefully a special occasion that day.
It gives the squad some breathing space before three important games in a week with hopefully a strong squad.

As disappointing as it is for everyone, it could actually be the turning point for our season. Rather than stringing a team together only to lose on our big day out, we should be fresher and fitter for the six pointer on Boxing Day.

Fantastic news, a game in hand is a guaranteed 3 points.

Should have been played. It isn't Luton Town's fault we can't field a full strength team. They should be given the points really.

Do we know what % of our squad is vaccinated?
