Royal_jimmy And Sunderland might re-sign Mannone.. I hope so and that he plays against us  one of the worst keepers we've ever had

Very very harsh. A decent keeper who had a mistake in him; not too dissimilar to Federici… In fact I'd rather Mannone to Feds.

If Mannone is one of the worst keepers you've seen here, I can't imagine you've watched us that long!

We've definitely had worse goalkeepers, he just wasn't great and grossly overpaid for his ability.

Cardiff about to make signing 604 this summer with Callum Robinson apparently about to move there from WBA.

Not a bad signing, they are potentially a decent CF away from maybe being a top half team on the fringes of the play offs based on what they've done so far this season. I still think they'll finish mid table though.

Think Mannone only seemed disappointing due to the combination of wages (as others have said) and that he was directly succeeding Al-Habsi, who for my money is up there with Shaka.

Prefer Mannone to Jaakola, Walker, Virginia, Hein, or Nyland, and right now I prefer him to Lumley or Bouzanis too (but there’s time for that to change).

Considering Mannone was at the club at the samectime as Jaakola and Bond, he wasn't even one of the worst keeper's at the club in his 3 years with us.

Age is definitely affecting your memory, old chap. Those two are leagues apart. I loved Ali FWIW, but he wasn't in the same class as Shaka.

When he posts about a game I certainly don't get the impression he's watched it. Boom! boom!

Sounds like Bowler is moving on from Blackpool. Fear for Blackpool tbh, strong chance they’ll go down imo

Seems a strange choice to go to Forest (potentially) seeing how many they've signed

Loaning him straight out to olympiakos

Watford seem to have kept hold of their forwards and Brereton staying at Blackburn unfortunately

WBA fans absolutely fuming at our old friend Gourlay this morning - they had 2 loan deals in the bag - pretty decent ones at that but they have fallen through due to paperwork not being filed on time.

WBA are apparently appealing but the fan base there are appalled that that could even happen.

Yeah, from the game I watched him and Fiorini were their best players for sure, everyone else were just kind of average. Not sure if Blackpool managed to bring someone in as a replacement, but that's probably their biggest attacking threat sold.

Could be a tough season for them if they can't replace that lost quality out wide.

Josh Bowler left Blackpool for Nottingham Forest and Forest have immediately sent him on out on loan to Olympiacos. Wonder if Forest wanted him for a sweetener for another deal with Olympiacos?

Must frustrate Blackpool fans seeing that as they must wonder if Blackpool asked Forest if he could be loaned back to them.

it would be bizarre given there is a 2 hour extra window where late deals can be flagged with a simpler form and the full paperwork submitted by 1am (assuming this applies to loans as well as perm deals)

Ron was probably hungry and needed to go for a kebab or a takeaway curry, not his fault, big boned.
