Yes, Mannone did save 2 penalties for Reading (one v Leeds and one v QPR) but they were both in season 2017/18.

McCleary tucked away about two of his own on the rebound iirc.

Joao's misses wrecked his confidence. Never fully recovered.

So basically, our current options either don’t have a great record, or their record is based off just one pen. Still baffled that Meite took the last one.

Ince looked to be going to take one earlier in the season but then handed the ball to Long

Yep he saved the pen at the death. It was a Good Friday and the fakes were all over us but we hung on for a 1-0 win.
