He was a pcunt when he was here, and he's still a pcunt.

Maybe if he wasnt shit, and didn't spend his whole time falling over his own feet and agitating against Coppell he would have had a better time.

I remember at the time people were apoplectic about his comments and I couldn't quite see why.

Re-reading them, I still don't feel the hate. The club was in a right mess at the time and it didn't work out for him. His comments don't seem that inflammatory to me.

He's obviously a really smart bloke who is prepared to speak his mind. Maybe not quite as good a footballer as he thinks he was, but that hardly makes him a pcunt.

If it helps as context, I never liked him, never rated him, and my one bit of insider knowledge came via his dad and a friend that was slagging off Coppell. He's dead to me.

So, if one of your dad’s mates slagged off Coppell, you’d hate yourself?

Caylan Vickers has had his loan to Barnsley cut short and returned to Brighton. Their fans are on the whole disappointed and feel after the first few weeks he was played out of position.

Wonder where he'll end up now. I imagine he'll struggle physically wherever he goes in League One (or lower), unless he's played in some specific roles - which most sides don't utilise. Probably left us at completely the wrong time for his career.

Definitely. Him and Nelson Abbey. Both needed at least another year here.

Abbey too. I think his physicality made up for his relative lack of defensive mental attributes (such as positioning); these are mostly developed through match experience. He's playing in the top flight of Portuguese football and is still only twenty-two, so has plenty of scope to improve still.

Jayden Wareham subbed off at HT (only 4 down then) as Exeter crashed 10-1 at 115 City.

…and elsewhere, L1 top scoring Dom Ballard ups his tally (if only we’d had another go at him during/following our sh1tty Dai’s)

He's going to score next week, isn't he?

Thing is, while he's doing well, the team really isn't, a bit like Wareham.

Caught a bit of Vickers this season. He’s bulked up a fair bit, and still quite skillful . He’s certainly someone I’d take back, play out wide or behind a main striker.

Yeah, the number of his own mistakes Abbey covered through sheer pace/physicality. Plenty of time to mature.

Obviously didn't feature against Carlisle but must admit, that's a miraculous recovery.

He absolutely did feature against Carlisle, that's the game he got "injured" in. Apparently they've changed the rules according to a Hull journo.

As far as I can work out, players can now play for a maximum of two sides in the FA Cup each season - so (hypothetically) he wouldn't be allowed to play for another side he was loaned out to in the FA Cup this season.

Don't know why it changed.

Why are the twitter twats so weirdly obsessed with Jayden Wareham's father? Very strange.
