The Royal Forester If our government is consistent (hard to imagine, I know) and Trump does invade Greenland then it will sanction the US as it did to Russia.. Then all American owners of British Football clubs will have to sell up. Can't see sanctions happening though.

Forbury Lion We have American owners, in fact Rob Coughig is listed on the internet as being a Republican (doesn't necessarily makes him pro-Trump).

Interesting times. Given the spotlight on anything or anyone connected to the USA at the current time. Goodwill can soon disappear to be replaced by outright negativity.

I imagine we might see more Greenland flags at English football matches than we've ever seen, in other words more than zero. Should we boycotting or protesting at the Barnsley/Louisiana Day as a general protest against f*****g Yanks generally rather than having a false jolly good time ?

South Coast Royal BTW I have decided to do my own personal one-off protest by staying away tomorrow.
It has nothing to do with my missus moaning about the chip on my windscreen and her fear that I will get killed when the screen caves in on the M3.![]()
Anyway I will watch by streaming and the club already has my season ticket money but all this tosh about Louisiana Day I can now avoid.
I do so hate the Yanks, yes all of them at the moment, and "hate" is something that I so rarely feel or say about anything.
