Was probably the most likely of our games to be picked out of that batch of fixtures and is likely to be our highest demand away match.

Sky have chosen the much more appropriate matches of Cardiff vs Lincoln and Huddersfield vs Rotherham for their League One games that day.

Worth noting now:
See the latest Sky Sports TV selections [EFL] The EFL and Sky Sports have confirmed the latest broadcast selections between 6 March 2026 and 11 March 2026.

Selections for matches will now be announced weekly based on a four-week rolling basis, for example, next week’s announcement will cover the period around the weekend of 14 March.

From what I can see, after this Saturday’s game with Wycombe the following fixtures are ones those with SKY/NOW will get the option to watch on TV as they fall into the midweek games framework:

Tuesday 10 March - Mansfield Town (a)
Tuesday 17 March - Burton Albion (a)

4 weeks notice will be provided for any game specifically selected for coverage and we have had no further selections to date, would suggest the visit of Cardiff on April 18 is the most likely to get selected.

After that I reckon the most likely remaining Reading fixtures to get coverage are the two Easter games as SKY provided general coverage of the Boxing Day fixtures so may well do the same again for everyone’s games. Presume this will be revealed around 4 weeks before they are due to be played. The 2 games concerned are:

Friday 3 April - Huddersfield Town (a)
Monday 6 April - Lincoln City (h)

That leaves the last fixture of the season (below) and Sky have provided coverage of these fixtures in previous seasons so may well do so again.

Saturday 2 May - Blackpool (h)

Realised our home game against Wigan on the 28th March falls on an international break. I'd be surprised if that's called off though.

Without looking at which teams are actually playing, our players who may be away are: Andy Rinohmota and Tivonge Rushesha (Zimbabwe); Mamadi Camara (Guinea-Bissau); Kadan Young (England youth). I think Basil Tuma (Malta) is scheduled to be back too.

Wigan only have James Carragher (Malta) as a current international.
