For the title

Cardiff can get 108 points so the magic number is 109-48 = 61

For Automatic

Lincoln can get 107 points so the magic number is 108-48 =60

Play offs

Stevenage can get 90pts so magic number is 91 - 48 = 43

To stay up

Wigan can get 76 points so 77-48 = 29

Cardiff are playing Lincoln next week so they can`t both finish on those points.

I know that but with 13 games to go, bollocks to working out all the head to head permutations. Will it affect the magic number for the title or for automatic or both? We don't know so let the magic number do it's magic in good time.

If there's pertinent head to heads with 5 games to go, by all means factor then in.

Our maximum available is 87

Obviously automatic is a pipe dream but I'll include it until it's not mathematically possible.

We still have to play Stevenage so the play offs are actually currently in our own hands, goal difference permitting
