U 21’s home to Everton tonight in PL 2 at the SCL KO 7pm.
Very much the business end of the season and Royals just have 5 matches remaining ( 3 H 2 A). Currently we are 25th but a win tonight could see us jump 5 places in the table. As i have said previously a top 16 place to compete in the play-offs looks out of reach now, so the aim must be a 17th-24th finish to qualify for the new end of season tournament against the top 8 teams in the CAT 2 PDL league.
Everton lie 16th.

No Rinomhota then. Could he be in the first team squad for tomorrow?

1-0 11 mins Coke-Miles- Smith
H-T 1-0
F-T 1-0
Decent game and decent performance from the team although our goal led a charmed life on occasions. Standout performers for me were Duah again and Saint-Louis, while Bowdery when he came on showed what a talented player he is.
Up to 20th in the table after tonights matches.

See it was 7 years to the day yesterday that Olise made his debut against Leeds

Still remember that game pretty well. Looked through the match thread for old times sake and nice to see me and Ian arguing over Whoscored stats. Obvs some things never change

That link doesn’t seem to work but did see it on the news page. Sounds quite encouraging

A stat is a stat, unless it's average rating.

Reading up to 18th with just 3 matches to go in the regular season.
Man Utd H
Sunderland A
Derby H

So with these last 2 wins we are back in the mix for 16th to qualify for the play-offs.
Certainly we are on track to finish in the top 24 to qualify for the new end of season comp for positions 17th to 24th.
168 the attendance for the Everton game last Monday.
