Old Man Andrews What is "Lazy J"? Please elaborate on your use of the word lazy.

Lazy Joao of course!

Why is he any less or more lazy than Puscas? What makes him lazy?

From the games I’ve seen, yes he’s been more lazy than Puscas. But I didn’t see his Magic January spell when he was apparently amazing for us. Willing to give him another try as it looks like he gets the best out of the others, and does have a great finish. As I’ve said, an attacking 3 of Ejaria Olise & Meite behind would be great.

Ask any Sheffield Wednesday fan and they would say the same - lazy.

And, it’s got a good ring to it.

Is that enough Sir?

Old Man Andrews Would like to see us really go for it in our remaining games, we have very little to lose. Would like two up top.

Rafael

Gunter
Moore
Miazga
Obita

Rinomhota
Swift
Ejaria
Olise

Puscas
Joao

Like the front two but would look to start Morrison, Richards and Meite somewhere, probably for Obita, Moore and Ejaria/Olise

Meite in a 4 man midfield? Or go 4-3-3?

For me, the two names I really want to see on the team sheet are Ejaria and Olise tbh. Being as we are destined for mid table, i want to at least be entertained, and the extra games will benefit Olise for next season

Hound Starting to look forward to this a bit now, the Prem footy last night whetted the appetite a bit more

Should be a good game against on paper a pretty handy side, though Allen will be a loss certainly. It'll be interesting to see who Bowen goes for and should give a good pointer to who is likely to be here next season. I reckon it'll be

Rafael
Gunter Moore Miazga Obita
Rino
Meite Swift Ejaria Olise
Joao

Bench (7 now isnt it?): Southwood, Pele, Morrison, Richards, Puscas, Baldock, Timbe

leaving out Walker, Aluko, McCleary, McIntyre, Blackett, Adam, Boye, Osho, Araruna and prob a few more I've forgotten. We've a ridiculously big squad haven't we?

9 on the bench IIRC

in which case McCleary and McIntyre can move up

Like McIntyre but I personally see no reason to have 2CB’s on a bench and I expect Adam to be somewhere around the squad

Can add Loader to the list above, although not sure he’ll be around much longer anyway

Would have Joao floating behind Puscas with Olise/Ejaria left, Meite right, and Swift and Rino behind

So a mix between a 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1

Think Meite and Puscas have both earned their place from before the break so would be harsh to drop either

Normally Id agree, but with the high likelihood of injury. Wouldnt fancy any of our other players filling in at CB if 2 cbs got injured.

I think it might be better to have Meite has the like for like Joao replacement, can't see Joao doing much more than 60 minutes. It is nice to have so many options but on another hand it is ridiculous we have so many players on big contracts sitting on the bench. Cannot see this being the case next season.

Have to ask yourself if the club will cash in on Puscas after the season has finished.

I think there is a fair chance they will. That little spell before the break when he was playing well probably added plenty to his value. Depends what happens with FFP I expect

.........Miazga, Morrison, Moore
Gunter...................................Richards
...............Ejaria, Swift, Rino
....................Meite, Joao

Walker*, McIntyre, Obita, Pele, Olise, Puscas, Baldock, Masika, Araruna

Surprisingly yes. I have McIntyre in mind for next season. May as well have the left footed player start on the left.

K. Think he's been pretty shocking there, but could have been the system.

You're not wrong. He certainly has looked better on the left. I think he has even stated he prefers to play on the left.

Its an odd one. I suppose we could have inverted CBs but I am sure I saw something about left footed CBs actually being a good thing on the left.

Solution: Sell Moore, buy Miazga

Miazga, McIntyre.

Everyone's a winner.

Stooop. I can only get so erect.

Edit. Ahhh but we would have a leadership vacuum.

Yeah Morrison for shizzle. Surprised you didn't mention Yiadom? Rinomhota could be a future captain.

Yiadom is a bit fiery. And I think can be prone to poor judgement.

Plus tend to prefer a captain in the middle of the pitch CB, CM, maybe ST.

You're right. What we need is Lewis Baker back as club captain. I agree.
