So 1000's of fans have signed up? How?? Am I missing something?

Following something on twitter (2000 last time I looked) is not signing up to anything exactly.

I'm not local but have seen or heard of no media coverage.

Followed the Twitter account I think they mean. There's been quite a bit of media coverage tbf, more local than national.

Royals and Racers
One week in, we wanted to give a rundown of what we've been doing so far:
* Social Media formed, created with thousands of fans signed up
* Initial Twitter space with fans
* Recieved dozens of offers of help (Keep them coming!)
* Gained initial fundraising from STAR
* Media interviews with BBC South, BBC Berkshire, Talk Thames TV, Greatest Hits Radio & The Real EFL with more TV & radio to come this week
*Local MP's and councillors contacted to begin process of protecting Stadium, Training Ground & Air Dome along with trying to gain support for campaign
* Initial Letter for potential investors formed with ideas of what we want from new owners coming from social media &
HNA?
* Flyering campaign arranged in Reading to raise higher awareness within town
* Contact with national & international papers about advertising club to potential investors
* First merchandise planned, ordered, ready to go on sale ASAP
* Multiple PR "moments" lined up for this week
Thank you to everyone so far who has supported, and got behind the campaign. We are in it for the long haul. #SellBeforeWeDai

Which Air Dome? The one in the stadium car park or the one at Forest? Be amazed if the First Team have been in the one at the car park for years. Just rented out in the week and used for community groups, kids etc pre-match isn't it?

They've got about 3,500 followers on Twitter, which is about 1% of all the people who follow the club's account on Twitter. Of course, following something on Twitter doesn't mean you support it - merely want to see what someone posts.

Sir John is going to be on Meridian news at 6, urging fans to back Dai.

My two pence worth, pretty stupid to protest against the owner, only going to piss him off, we're screwed if he just walks.

So what's the consensus on here? Back the supporters trying to do something (even if it's only raising awareness) or just think they're a bunch of useless bottoms who'll achieve nothing but hack the owner and management regime off?

He’s the reason for why we’re in League One in the first place and will continue to be an active hindrance until he’s gone.

Yeah that's how the world works mate

He's not gonna bother seeking a return on his investment. He'll just walk away coz Spotty Dave and Tilehurst Terry from STAR said some nasty things about him

Our problems are caused by financial mismanagement which has to come down the owner. It has been ongoing. Fans have to protest about this, good for them. Who knows whether it will go anywhere, but lots of protests which achieved things would have died off if they had been given up because they looked unlikely to be successful or may piss of the powerful.

We should definitely back the guy that's completely oxf*rd the club up, because we're frightened of the very small possibility he decides to throw away a hundred million or two and just shut the club down rather than recover some of his money by selling to someone.

Maybe SJM thinks it might be a bigger possibility. Or he knows a bit more about him than we do, enough to have a degree of trust (now).

SJM said a few years ago before it all went to pot that we were only able to attract ambitious investors like the Dais because of the work he did building the club.

I think he wants to believe in Dai as it protects his legacy in his mind. He doesn't want to believe that this disaster of an owner is pissing away 20 years of good work.

Yeah, let's trust the guy who did a great job running us, but has made two terrible sales.

I have some thoughts on this action group. I shall mostly keep them to myself.
