If Fedders goes I'd like Joe Lewis from Peterborough.

Maybe Rory Fallon, 6'2", could be the new target man but it's looking like 4-5-1 as our new formation so probably not in that style. Aaron McLean could be another shout.

If Berty doesn't come back then Tommy Spurr from Sheff Weds.

CholseyRoyal My concern is that next season we lose the £11M parachute payment. If that has to be funded from selling players and reducing the wage bill again I can easily see us losing all the loanees plus The Sig, Kebe and one or two others. I foresee us running a very small squad and struggling to stay mid-table. I hope I am proved wrong but seeing as funds have always been short I feel we shall be relying heavily on Academy players. Cutting the cloth isn't finished!

we did our cloth cutting last summer so we wouldn't have to do it this summer
some of you people need to get this into your heads

Maybe that's what McDermott and Hammond will be saying during their meeting with the Chairman!

Mackail Smith would be perfect for us. Cover up front, number 10 or either wing.

Same with Hooper though I think he could cost more.

Certainly need a positive outcome to this weeks meeting. Hammond didn't sound all that confident in the paper.

We usually make one big signing, and maybe it will be Bertrand, but the other two would hold their value as they are young and English and great prospects.

I Can see Federici, Cisse , Marek and Rasiak leaving. That should raise a fair amount . I also read somewhere there was a possibility of a new manager at Sheff utd, and they wanted to take Howard back up.

That would raise enough Cash for a couple of players if Madejski is willing to give it to Mcdermott

Gk ..... Ashdown ? (will probably be pompey 1st choice next year so doubt it. )
J.Lewis (Wont want to play league one footy)
K.Schmeichel (Been released by Notts County, Could be worht a go)

DR...... Loks like Griffins coming. May still be a little light though.
