Royal Rother Good to see that Rasiak has a better goalscoring record than Lita this season.

For that matter, so has Church.

Rasiak, yes. Only by one. But not Church, they both have the same.

Church has a significantly better record this season than Lita.

How so, both have scored 3 goals? :?

Starts. Time on pitch. Anyway you look at it, the much maligned home-grown youngster Simon Church has a better goalscoring record than Lita at M'Boro this season.

Which, seeing as it could be said that Church has taken Lita's place in the team, is rather pleasing, isn't it?

Not sure why this debate is being had but, in my opinion, right now Lita is a better player than Church, however, I would rather have Church as part of our squad than Lita for the many reasons previously discussed on many previous threads.

Lita is a better finisher, Church is a better footballer.

Lita: 12+5
Church: 11+2

Seems to me they have a rather equal number of starts, and are you really sure the subs minutes are that different?
I'm not convinced this really indicates anything to back up your statement that Church has a "SIGNIFICANTLY" better scoring ratio per minute. Looks very similar to me.

But it does disprove the claim that they have the same record and have taken part in a fairly significantly different number of games (Lita has been involved in 30% more than Church)

No idea about pitch time - but Church has been subbed at or around the hour mark in a lot of games he's started....

You've no idea about pitch time, yet you're happy to say that Lita has been involved 30% more than Church?

No.

I said he's been involved in 30% more games.

Which he has.

And has nothing to do with pitch time !

Do you want another try ?

FWIW Lita's 3 goals have come from 25 shots, Church's from 24 shots.

Ah, but what distance were they from, what angle to the goal and how many defenders were in the way ?

I think it just shows that you don't have to be much of a striker to get in Englands' or Wales' U21 sides.

Leroy Lita is currently 70th place in the top 100 Championship players Actim index. Rosenior a few places above him.

There are no Reading players there as far as I can see with a quick scan.

It's still earlyish doors. Leroy will probably stay around the 70th mark as Rasiak, Church, Sig, Marek and Plastic overtake him.

The Actim index was meaningless nonsense when we dominated the top 10 (although quite nice to see)

I'm not aware it's changed much since then.

It's a decent indication of how well a team is playing together, nothing much more than that.

I think the league table is pretty decent at that too...

No, according to a lot of people on here, Blackpool aren't a top 6 side and we're not relegation fodder, so I have to rely on the Actim to see who's any good.
