We had him on trial four years ago and it sounds like he may be being invited over for another weeks trial. I guess the hope is we sign him up for the future. Recover the cash if we go down otherwise keep him for next season. He won't be available until Feb 2013 anyway.

That was out last night that he didn't travel and now seems confirmed. Hopefully it's to us then and not someone else. Happy with this if we get him!

Looks good physically in that video. Nice to see he can play in midfield and is still seemingly commanding in the air. I wouldn't really want another Cisse - who wasn't good enough on the ball to be a midfielder, or good enough in the air to be a defender. Potential there. I'd be happy to see him join, especially if Arsenal are interested... but he does seem like he'd be rather expensive for what he'd bring to the team now and the position we are currently in.

I'm guessing this won't happen.

Still? He didn't travel with the squad initially. The latest twist is that he flew out to arrive today, while two other Zambian journos said he was flying into the UK. I don't think anyone knows anything more than that we are interested and we want it done asap.
