+1. Very weird

Fcuking hell you two, it was a joke

Bloody hell...

Man up genome and stick by what you said, we both know double d isn't at the game, nor in fact is he ever at a game where he specifically goes out of his way to say he is at...

It's glaringly obvious. :|

What an odd comment. You don't know if I am at the game at all. I go to most games, have missed 3 away games all season.

You know if I had to pick 3 teams to go down out of the likely contenders, I'd get rid of Sunderland, Hull and Bolton (no offense Parky).

Enough of those horrible northern treks (that I don't go to anyway).

HT Burton Albion 0-1 Reading

    Bodvarsson 22’

Rumours Reading are more direct verging on long ball at times

Burton were abysmal when they beat us as well. One of the worst sides I’ve seen.

Which was partly what made that such a dreadful day

We must be thankful for small mercies.

Yep, and thought we were more direct against Brentford, too.

Having conceded the early goal, Burton are having to come at us more, which is leaving gaps and space they usually don't like to allow.

If Stam screws this up and doesn't see this out with anything less than 3 points he must go. Tomorrow. Let whichever caretaker we can get in to take on Millwall.

I don't think we will though. Burton are dead certs for League 1, along with Sunderland. It's the other spot I'm worried about

I wouldn't put anything past us, but FYI Stam is going nowhere anytime soon.

The problem is he will now tell the team to defend their slender lead, and we will make a silly mistake and gift them at least one goal.

Although .... maybe as he is departing from his tactical genius and played 4-4-2 for the 2nd time* in a league match, he may just say carry on doing what you are doing. Would be nice!

* As far as I can tell, we played 4-4-2 in the 1-0 win at Leeds 14/10/17, and never before since Stam's arrival.

Clough has done an amazing job at Burton. They are at least 2 divisions above their level.
They've spent a grand total of 550,000.

Indeed. They have done brilliantly to get to this level and fair play to them

They are still shit though

Apparently there's a fine, misty rain blowing over the Pirelli on a chilly Midlands evening.

Can any stato advise when we last won a game under these conditions

Can play like Wimbledon circa 1988 if it gets us 3 points tonight for all I care

The line up we have lends itself to being more direct. Almost play 4-2-4 and try to bypass the midfield. Fine with that

Reading4eva Burton sound bloody awful. I'm sorry but how did we get beat by this bag of guff?

Still think Stam must go BUT the points are more important at the moment. Even if this result keeps Jaap in the job for a little longer

1-1 pen

Who made the push? It looked like an extremely stupid pen to concede
