Yiadom showing why he was dropped with that substitute appearance. So far past his sell by date. Half decent second half performance from the team without ever really looking like they could make it count.

Burton had one decent player and were otherwise dreadful shithouses.

Selles appears to have a head injury and no idea how to select a football team. We huffed and puffed in a game we dominated that lacked any quality.

Still, should have had a penalty.

I like Tyler Bindon, I never want to see him at right back again. We have got to play with some proper width.

Wing added some drive to midfield but the rest of the front 4 just got in each others way. Lacking any cohesion or interplay. They didn't seem to know where each other were or what they would be doing.

Can we please stop all the anti Selles / negative Selles posts? He is doing his best having been given a rotten hand.

Posts like these just encourage more negativity and division.

I’m one of Selles’ biggest supporters on here but I’m not blind. He got it wrong today. You can cry about that if you like but I don’t care.

The good:
Wing is an upgrade on Hutchinson.

The bad:
Other than injuring each other, i can't think what this squad does in training during the week. They turn up on Saturday like they've never set eyes on each other and then proceed to play the same way. If there was a gameplan for Burton today i've (still) no idea what it was. Same old tippy tap across the backline, zero movement in front of them so they punt it upfield for a CB to clear it and we go again.

Front players like headless chickens, only move when they're chasing the ball, barely challenge for the long balls they can't win, and hit the ball directly at the keeper when a chance does eventually come.

It still feels like we're turning up and expecting to win these games by default. In truth, we barely bothered Burton.

For everyone getting on Azeez' back, have you seen Harvey Knibbs?

This. I'm sure it wasn't meant to be as negative as the first half turned out but against a team that were always likely to put everyone behind the ball for 90 minutes it was a baffling team selection.

That was a very poor game, but this is what I have been expecting. At least we kept a clean sheet and we go up one place in the league.

I think we’ve been unlucky to lose Smith for so long as we desperately need an experienced striker. I still think we’ll be okay, but it’s going to be tough going.

Looking on the positive side, Mola didn't even make the squad this week after just looking constantly sub-par. So that's something Selles has right.

Carson isn't ready to be a regular first teamer, but he's getting a lot of experience that will be hugely beneficial to him. Ehibatiomhan's hold up play is looking much better. Needs to get the ball out from under his feet a little more and move a little further away from trying to dribble straight through people. But looking a great prospect. Abbey looked much better alongside an experienced head once he came on. McIntyre looked completely at home before his injury. Dean was mostly good.

We continue to have a very good squad, a little light on experience. We just need to find the right combination and get a couple of good performances and results behind us in a row.

I'm not blaming the protests, but the bad feeling and disruption is definitely affecting performances. None of the players look like they're really enjoying themselves any more. And certainly none of the fans are.

Awful first half. Team selection was also awful. If you're going to have your width come through your full backs, then maybe don't play a centre back at RB. Having said that, looking at the performance of our club captain when he came on Bindon maybe wasn't as bad as I thought.

Much improved second half, the better team and would have won if it wasn't for their keeper making several very good saves.

Wasn't there today but sounds like we're lacking quality which is a concern. 7 shots on target and no goals is poor, maybe credit to their keeper but poor from us to not score despite dominating the game.

Yiadom has been at the club far too long. He really needs to move on

Thought we were better than a lot of the negativity suggests after being at the game. Was very one sided in the second half and their keeper made some good saves. Just the wrong ball too often in the final third and the strikers just don’t look natural goalscoreres at times. How Azeez still hasn’t scored is a mystery

First half wasn’t great but the second half was a good-ish performance. 20 shots on goal, 7 on target - 6 in the second half I think

Most times you win that game 2-0 and everyone goes home happy

Still Smith can’t back soon enough. Carson was much improved- some great balls and crosses. Savage a bit anon but Wing looked good

Burton were pretty shite but honestly most teams in this league are. They did at least have a decent keeper

He was shocking but shouldn’t be at LB. Should have kept Carson on

Players looked fine generally. Good attitude and worked hard

I’m all for the protests but it undoubtedly affected the team first half. Knew it was coming and then took 10 mins out to get cold again. You have to accept it will do that and again accept it as part of the bigger picture

CountryRoyal Only performance/result I’ve been truly disappointed in this season.

Selles at fault here.

Blackpool and Vale 2nd half for me.

Happier with this as we haven’t lost even though an 'easier' game.

So close to scoring without looking great about 4/5 times. Could have had a pen in that.

This is worse than last Saturday. Blackpool at Bloomfield Road is a hard place to go. Burton at home should be 3 points

I think a lot of what went wrong for him, which tbh is being a bit overstated imo, is from being a RB put at LB. Wanting to us his right foot when the situation more called for his left.

Whole game was crying out for him at RB.

Royal Jimmy's mum will have to be putting on the waterproof bed sheets tonight. Poor lad is going to soak his mattress right through otherwise.
