Royal Rother I am not a Lita basher. When a player has played poorly I say so, when they play well I say so. You will find equally as many complimentary posts from me regarding Lita as negative ones.

Many of the negative ones were all in one short space of time when I tried to explain to a bunch of dimwits just why I thought he had been poor in the early part of the season.

Ok, i'll accept that, it just seems to me that certain players can play crap and nothing gets said by anyone, including you. Then Lita has an underaverage game and a bunch of dimwits start moaning that he's greedy lazy and falls over too much.

and thug. yawn yawn yawn

Bad attitude, gangsta, not the type of player I want at my club blah blah

It does speaks volumes, however, when some choose to criticise Lita, but say nothing about Long.

Agreed they were sh*t scared of us by the end - we had about 60 % possession second half...

Well I think it was clear that Long shouldn't have started - can't really blame Lita. Look how much more dangerous we were with Kitson and Oster on...

I don't know about that, there were a fair few moaning about Long as well.

It just seems to me that there are only a few players in the first XVI that ever get criticised and they tend to get constant criticism unless they are playing out of their skin.

Well, I thought we were terrific going forward in the 2nd half, playing some great flowing football. With the chances created we should have won comfortably, but Viduka and Yakubu were just a class ahead of our strikers unfortunately.

Good game, if a bit frustrating not to get something out of it.

What volumes does it speak, and who criticised Lita and not Long?

Sums it up fairly well, a bit of luck and we would have had result there easily. Poor defending for both goals as well.

I think that's harsh on Long. Both strikers were isolated in the first half, and Long was really coming into the game when he was subbed.

Having said that, I would still start Kits in the next match.

Okay, so that's the singular use of the word "some" as opposed to the usual plural...

Righto. I guess this piece of beautiful wisdom means that Hobnob must be closed down tonight. I mean, what IS the point in discussing a game after it's finished?

You are SUCH a thick pillock Harold.

Great spirit from the team. I thought Lita worked fantastically hard today and didn't have great service. Obviously his shooting boots weren't on but I don;t know how anyone can really say he had a "stinker". This was always going to be a tough game away against an in from team who have really sorted out their defensive problems.

Horrible luck to be found out for the second so soon after the Arca obstruction in the box on Little followed by the Hunt "offisde" when clean through. In defence of the boys, they didn;t miss a beat and really dominated the second half in equal measure before and after the second goal.
