LUX yes, but that achievement, if it comes to pass, will most likely be only possible because Derby had a far greater points deduction

That’s not like you Lux

Their points deduction for overspending was only 3 more than ours and, as I understand it, because they tried really hard to fraudulently get away with it
The 12 points for administration are completely automatic and we’ve not (yet) been placed into administration

So the achievement of surviving will be entirely due to what the team have achieved, should we finish more than 3 points ahead of Derby

One's to watch this weekend:

Boro vs Hull
Swans vs Derby
Bristol C vs P'Boro
Millwall vs Barnsley

Potentially another good weekend for us if we can nick another 3 points.

Interesting that if Barnsley and us win we bring Hull into play who are dropping like a stone again. They will get nothing at Boro.

Hull are probably safe even if they lose every game. Even if they lose and Barnsley win they're 9 points clear.

Hull keep up their excellent away form and win at Boro. So they are safe, as if there was an argument.

Bottom 4 likely to stay as they are now and unless there is a shock result all will lose on Friday.

If you can guarantee that, I’d take it in a heartbeat

Sheff Utd are on exactly the same form as us. P6, W2, D2, L2. I wouldn't expect a result, but I think we've got a decent chance of getting some points. And it's not like their recent draws and defeats are only against top teams

Billy Sharpe has missed their last 3 games and they`ve scored 1 goal, he`s just bound to be back Friday isn`t he.

They seem to be a well organised but quite dour team. They're not like Bournemouth or Fulham where you think they could absolutely tear us apart. Whilst I'm not going with any expectation, I wouldn't be surprised if we got something out of the game.

…and of course, there is the obligatory Billy Sharp goal, coming off of the bench.

Cocky Derby fans still think they will catch us looking at their forum. I'm still more worried about Barnsley with the home games they have left. Still think 5 more points will be enough

It's one fan and everyone's asking him wtf he's on. There's a few saying "If the gap is 3pts going into the last day, we have a chance" but that's about it.

Let them be cocky. They have no room for error. They need to win all 3 home games and hope we lose the next 5. Today was their 8th straight away defeat - only second time in Championship history that has happened. Should be at least 9 but of course we threw away a 2 goal lead.

They play Fulham on Friday night. Fulham will likely need a win for promotion.

We are at the stage now where dropped points are close to terminal for the bottom 3.

Maybe they are new to football

until today’s results, Hull were very much vulnerable

It was simple mathematics….no need for the self-righteousness
