You would of thought, after oxf*rd cheating to win The Championship, they would of at least equalled or beaten our 106 pts record. 15 point deduction really wouldn't have made any difference. Couldn't even get that right , tossers. I hope they throw the book at them!!!

Apparently he is now saying that the delay in revealing the outcome of the hearing goes in QPR's favour. Looks like a fine to me..at most.

Strong rumours from a QPR fan who is ITK saying that a decision will be announced tomorrow morning. I'm hoping they go below Forest so we can play Forest in the playoffs.

As long as Cardiff aren't celebrating second place tomorrow I couldn't give a nun's chuff.

Snowball The FA/League is handling this very cleverly IMO.

I doubt it very much. We'll soon find out if they are or not.

bobby m's syrup Check this out. It seems to be causing a few palpitations in W12 http://www.qprnet.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 3&start=15

That was written on the 30th April.

So? It's still telling them what they could face if found guilty - and the decision hasn't been imparted yet.

I never claimed that this was new. However, it is a well argued and reasonable analysis. With brainless speculation rife, I thought that it added a little balance.

the FA even have the power to take away QPR's trophy once it has been physically handed to them.

My view........... leave the Tredder clan alone. Known since Sept 2010 for an offence in 2008 ?????. What a fecking joke the old Farts at the FA are by delaying it further. Enjoy tomorrow Colin QPR deserve the title dance on Saturday

Agree

...just think that they are waiting to see just how many points win promotion/championship by

...then they will deduct them one point less

Anything that does NOT let Cardiff in is fine with me

Spizz is right.

The delay is because a) QPR must be guilty and b) the parties need to negotiate a suitable but not inconvenient punishment.

I think they are thinking 10 points off would be ideal:
- 10pts deductions have some kind of precedent (for different offences admittedly)
- would be a threat to most clubs if they mis-behaved similarly in the future
- nice round double digit number
- punishes QPR by taking the title away

BUT - they need to wait for all the results to come in and hope that QPR finish 10 clear of 3rd place. That will give them a nice neat solution and QPR wouldn't appeal (still pronmoted) and there wouldn;t really be strong grounds for other clubs to appeal either.

Cardiff can feck all this up by winning at Burnley though, so the FA may need more thinking time over the weekend. That's my guess - ' no insider-o'

Don't promote them at all and relegate just two clubs from the Premier League this season.

I know this might sound way out of left field, but I think the delay in announcing the decision is because the FA have still to come to a decision on some of the charges, and won't announce the outcome until ALL charges have been decided upon.

That suggests to me that they have come to a decision on SOME of the charges, and that the decision on those charges (whether guilty or not guilty) means that the play-offs are unaffected; in other words, the outcome will either mean promotion, or not even in the play-offs.

To NOT allow QPR to have the trophy today BEFORE the outcome is made public will send a clear signal that they are going to get the book thrown at them big time and may leave the FA open to a charge that QPR didn't get a fair hearing, hence the FA allowing the trophy presentation to occur; however it would be amazingly niave for anyone associated at QPR to think that by being handed the trophy today will indicate that they are definitely Champions/promoted, or that the FA are less likely to punish them in order to not look silly cos the trophy has already been presented.......

As for the final outcome; my gut feel is that QPR are going up and that the FA will fudge a proper punishment for the club.
