blueroyals Would only accept him leaving if we had a decent manager lined up. If we appoint a hoofball merchant (Brian, Pulis) then this is a mistake.

And if you don't accept him leaving does he keep his job?

Ian Royal There's a lot of people posting emotionally without engaging their brain at the moment.

RL seems to be implying Gunter would be good if played on the right, where he's been utter gash. I may be misunderstanding her.

Froomes complaining about the lack of game time for Kuhl and Tanner, both of whom have been injured and both of whom are competing for a place with the two bright sparks we have in Cox and Norwood.

Mmmmonster saying we're getting worse in all departments when not long ago we were conceding 3 goals in virtually every game and bar the birmingham debacle (one game isn't a trend) we'd conceded 4 in the last 5.

People cried for Adkins to sort out the defence. Drop Pearce, play Cooper. He does this. He drops Cox to beef up midfield, it helps defensively. People want Cox back in. He does it, we lose 6-1. People call for Obita on the wing. People call for Obita at fullback.

The totally incoherant messages from HNA show there are simply no easy answers to our problems. We've got a squad with holes in, injuries and recovered players who aren't back at their previous level.

We're bumbling along badly, but there's a ridiculous hysteria about how bad things actually are. Just stop, breathe and try and be calm and rational for a bit. It's really not that bad. Football is full of ups and downs. Its not tge ebd of tge world even if it does miraculously become tge disaster so many seem to think it is.

Read my next post - I got muddled - I meant to say he should play on the LEFT as he does for Wales. Obita should be on right etc.

This poll is illegal - hasn't got the obligatory Alan Curbishley option! And why not Kebe? Skybet have him on 20/1 ...

What next for Nigel Adkins?
Alan Curbishley
Jimmy Kebe

Agreed. Two very realistic possibilities.

So where he was abjectly bad earlier in the season? Which is what I originally thought.

Adkins will get a job at one of the next medium-sized championship clubs who sack somebody and then get them promoted.

What next for Adkins? He will be fine. Football is a funny old business and no doubt other clubs will know the constraints he has had to work under. I think his reputation is in tact. In terms of us, new manager to scrap the Murray transfer and use the savings (circa 2 million) to buy a left back and centre half. Maybe loan a striker from the Prem. If the Pog is running down his contract can we not re-register him as an academy coach and therefore his wages not be included in FFP!!

leon So what do we reckon?

I reckon someone at the club saw the poll and took action..... now wouldn't it be funny to edit the poll and swap the results around and see if they backtrack.
