WestYorksRoyal Agree the 3 points is irrelevant if we don't have a club. Raise publicity by any means possible, get him out and rebuild from whatever level we're at.

The problem with this theory is how does negative publicity speed up a new buyer wanting to buy the club?

By persuading Dai to accept offers. Agree it's a complicated, difficult situation. It all comes back to Dai and his cronies for creating this dilemma.

It's NOT suddenly going to persuade a man in China to accept offers that he may have had in front of him for months as he doesn't care enough any more. Equally it's not going to persuade prospective buyers to suddenly make worthwhile offers for the club either.

Some numpty rang into BBCFM to say they wanted the FL to change their rules so owners like this couldn't get control of clubs

Club can't even afford to put the the floodlights on :D

Do think however in respect to the PV fans who have travelled they should get off and let the game restart mind you

Greatwesternline Tbh getting a fine levied on the club + having to play behind closed doors will probably see the club liquidated by Easter.

I tend to think there is a more than 0% chance this protest and abandonment seals the clubs fate.

It will run out of money quicker than a buyer will be found if it losses all match day revenue.

It won't get liquidated, it will get put into administration. Which means it gets sold.

The longer this continues, the more leagues we drop, players/assets we sell and reputational damage, the more chance there is that no one wants to buy us. That's the fear. We have to accept the pain now for the sake of future Reading fans. I rather us go out fighting than fade into nothing.

Would be typical if Bolton abandonment overshadows our protest.

I would make the next home game season tickets only.
But the EFL will probably make us play behind closed doors anyway.

There would be nothing worse than the club going under and all the supporters did was to lob a few hundred tennis balls onto the pitch.

You don't think that if Dai/Pang face the threat of the club being expelled from the EFL that wouldn't make them more likely to accept offers?

Now they've all shown what heroes they are perhaps the remaining games can be left to run their natural course.

Now to wait for the FL to rule on the size of the fine and how many games behind closed doors the club will have to endure.

As has been speculated, will the club still be operating by Easter?

You understand Dai Young can liquidate us if he wants? As the owner of the company that entirely his right.

It's so dangerous having 1000 uninformed RFC fans doing protests labouring under the misapprehension that somehow they can bring about administration against the will of the clubs biggest creditor, Dai Young.. He can just shut up shop if he can't be bothered.

If you want the club to go into administration protest outside Compass Catering until they petition for the clubs administration for unpaid debts.

I very much doubt any home game will ‘run its course’ until something drastically changes

He can only liquidate the club if he pays back all debts 100%. Otherwise he has a legal obligation to sell the club.

If you are a billionaire £10m is a rounding error. He has already let two previous clubs go into liquidation. What makes us different to them in Dai's mind?
