Not seen it mentioned but apologies if so but in completely unsurprising news Dai has not put the 125% in the relevant account according to James Earnshaw.

He will be fined another 50k and probably charged again. Which will clearly have zero impact.

I do wonder if trying to reach out to the players and Selles is SBWD's next best move. They can't be forced to move; if they don't agree to leave, Dai can't asset strip. Could they even go on strike? It feels like it's pretty united: fans, players, management and staff vs Dai and Pang.

Are we likely to suffer a points deduction or have the EFL decided it's not worth it any more?

This was all as a result of a charge against Dai. The EFL wanted to ban him for 12 months and force a sale (possibly) but the commission said no. Imagine that dance will start again now.

Hard to not feel sorry for the players with this ongoing sorry mess, their heads must be all over the place right now, how can they even think about playing football?

News clearly getting some traction; the hashtag has enough traffic that the porn bots are moving in.

Given what they've been through in the past it is ironic that Luton are the first vultures to circle around to take advantage of our plight.

WestYorksRoyal
Orion1871
WestYorksRoyal Plot thickens. Nelson apparently not keen on the idea and club have the option to extend his contract. Really being driven by Pang.

Obviously it's his home club, but taking emotion out of it and thinking about his career, surely it's a no brainer. Maybe there's a future where he stays, Dai sells, he captains us to promotion, stays into his 30s and we build him a statue. Seems pretty fcuking remote right now.

Perhaps if Abbey is to leave he'd like it to be by his own choice to the betterment of his career. Not just being sold to any old random club because Dai Yongge and his crony are crooked bastards.

Well it's everythings that's wrong with football really. Love the game as a kid, dream of playing for your home club, work hard and then have it fcuked up by dodgy foriegn characters ruining the industry.

I think I'm falling out of love with the game to be honest. I got a ticket to Spurs v Liverpool a few months ago where I'd normally be delighted to see some top level football. But the entire day was tainted by what Reading were going through; I couldn't simply enjoy the game. Clubs like Port Vale and Lincoln are arguably more enjoyable; no billionaire foreign bastard will buy them, it's a world away from all this, as are local non league sides. I would probably quite enjoy following the phoenix club.

Corrected for you.

We are dead. Something drastic has to be done now by the supporters or we will be another KSV Roeselare. It's do or Dai.

PieEater
Elm Park Kid Didn't Blackpool fans force out the owner through protest and not turning up?

No, I'm pretty sure it was a Russian co-owner.

It took about 4 years too

I agree, i think the best we can do now is get behind the team, the manager and Mark Bowen and lets fight our way out of this!! Lets make the club a sellable asset, let's show any potential buyer's that Reading FC is a good piece of business with a strong caring fanbase.
Dai obviously wants to run us to the point of extinction however, if we can survive the drop and maybe some increased attendances can help keep us afloat and keep the protests to large banners at the games and just keep fighting for our lives and maybe a potential buyer will see the potential and in the process we can give a big oxf*rd you to Dai !!!!

However much i hate Derby County, what Wayne Rooney and the players did after a huge points deduction and the fight they put up was pretty commendable!!
They likes of Abbey, Holmes, McIntyre and Co have been at the club for years and i'm pretty sure this is hurting them as much as it is the supporters. I'm sure Abbey and Holmes would prefer to stay at the club and fight and whilst under contract there is nothing stopping them from staying so let's make them feel appreciated and wanted and dig in against Dai and his puppets.

Finally, if Dai and Pang are trying to sell players behind Bowen and Selle's backs then let's go after Pang and make his life hell!! Surly he must be working from the Stadium so that make's him an easy target!!!

WestYorksRoyal Is the plan literally sell our squad to get as much value as possible followed by liquidation that leaves Dai with Bearwood?

And royal elm park building has started, would be a much more attractive development without a football ground overlooking it.

You mean like the protest vs Peterborough that also happened after the game and did absolutely f*** all and ended up just looking silly?

What a brilliant idea!
