Pepe the Horseman
Hound Wilder must be getting very nervous - getting tonked at home by cardiff…

I expect Russell Martin will beat him to it after another late goal conceded. 94th min winner for Sheff Utd. Shame because Swansea seriously looked the part for the first 60 mins against us last season.

Yeah serious mentality issues there

They had a sort of arrogance which was not deserving of their ability when they drew 4-4 with us I thought. And think they only looked great because we had a shocking first half that day tbh

Huddersfield in a right mess. Could go 14 clear of them tonight

Weird how far they’ve fallen, yet strangely not unexpected.

42% of all their goals conceded after the 81st minute. They've lost 5 points to goals conceded after the 90th minute - difference between potentially being in the bottom 3 tonight and being 7th at the moment.

Derby have carried on where they left off last year. Decent at home (9/12), shocking away (2/12). No real surprise and think they will finish around mid-table, will take them 2 or 3 seasons to get on an even keel before coming back up.

Since start of 2019/20, Derby's away record is P73 W14 D17 L43 or 59 from 219 available.

Imagine ours hasn't been much better though to be fair.

2019/20 P23 W8 D7 L8
2020/21 P23 W7 D9 L7
2021/22 P23 W6 D3 L14
2022/23 P4 W1 D0 L3

Total P73 W22 D19 L32

85 from 219 so while not great, still quite a bit better.

Long may it continue, and they languish in league one. Great result for Lincoln last night.

Reading are getting to be a bit of a jinx club with opponents changing management just before home fixtures are played (Stoke, Sunderland and then Huddersfield) it’s rumoured that Dean Smith will be very worried if Norwich lose on Saturday.

Bit better than I thought to be honest.

Just having a quick look at the Derby forum and the fans are blaming their position on having to build a squad using free agents, kids and loans where they don't have to play a fee. Sounds like another club that is doing OK at the moment.

TBF there are a few saying, it's better to be shit for a bit than not have a club.

Yes, better than I thought as well. I guess we all think it has been terrible due to the 14 defeats last season, even though we had a similar amount of wins as previous seasons.

David Wagner a very early favourite for the Huddersfield job - feels like a lazy call based on nothing more than fans getting nostalgic for better times.

Haven’t they won their last 5? Don’t think he’ll be too concerned :)

With form like that... Dean Smith is 40/1 with Sky Bet for the Brighton job - Alex Neil jumped ship from Sunderland rather than being pushed.

Still with quite a few “house-hold” championship names in the squad. Lovely stuff.

Not strictly rivals but didn't know where else to put this (perhaps it deserves its own thread):

https://www.footballinbracknell.co.uk/n ... andalised/

Reading City have had their ground vandalised.

The Rivermoor was, according to a social media post by the club, broken into on Tuesday night with the changing rooms trashed and pipe work stolen.

City manager Simon Johnson summed it up on Twitter: “Honestly. Repeat occurrence. Absolute scum of the earth.”

If you have any information on the break-in, please head to the Thames Valley Police website here and quote reference number 20220914 – 0458.

Sadly, the criminal fraternity use the replacement of goods (through insurance hopefully) as an opportunity for a repeat visit, knowing they've probably got new stuff to take.
