MouldyRoyal In a bizarre turn of events, I have the following serious, team-board style question:

Do you think he is more likely to play his usual LW or in the hole behind a lone striker?

If he is going to play LW will Jobi be dropped or will he play in the hole?

Personally, with his pace and dribbling I'd like to see how he'd do running at Championship CB's. Would be interesting.

He'll play wide with McAnuff in the middle

HRK will leave

I'd rather McLeary left. Kebe right and Drenthe through the middle.

No Fixed Abode
Unbelievable Jeff
No Fixed Abode Wages?

everyone gets paid wages? nothing new there

Drenthe and Bridge have upped the wages at the club again. Not sure it's being run the Reading way now. A way you were all proud of, a way you could despise other clubs for spending lots of money. Just a massive contradiction from the majority of Reading fans.

There's a difference between short-term calculated risk, like this, and long-term unsustainable gambling like West Ham, Pompey etc. Or financial doping like Chelsea or City.

We have parachute payments and the finances will be absolutely fine with some short-term big spending to push back up. Besides, we've got no idea whether the wages for Drenthe and Bridge would be particularly unreasonable for the Championship.

Now I've given a serious answer to your wumming, you can go and oxf*rd yourself silly at your great catch. Well done.

No Fixed Abode So let me get this right. When other clubs spend big money they're ruining football. When your own club does it, it's OK.

Serious response to parody post:

Not really, no.

Kes has a point. Torres may have cost 50m in transfer fees, but like most big transfers he's on minimum wage.

SPARTA So, there we have it - we are trying to sign two at the same time, hence the delay. Full international means not Hooper and gazza has ruled out Sharp. I wonder if it's the 6'2" Slovenian chap we've been looking at..

I assume the full international was Alex Pearce then..

Lovely stuff on those other Championship forums/fora.

My favourite was from Brighton:

A quite unbelieveable signing, if Adkins gets him playing then we may as well all pack up and go home.
