let's also not forget the huge amount of defensive work that Tom Ince puts in as well when compared to Swift from previous seasons and a good defence starts from the front

Embargo will last the next 3 windows (so until summer 2024) unless appeal is successful or some other agreement is reached. This all relates to the Bluebirds’ non payment of the first instalment of 5.1m Euros to Nantes over Emiliano Sala’s transfer. Probably part of the reason why Cardiff went a bit OTT with signings last summer.

Cardiff are suing the insurance broker who dealt with that side of the transfer for poor advice for I believe £15m...will depend on how that pans out I guess

If that doesn't go in their favour, and they continue to refuse to pay, can bankruptcy be filed? Not sure how it works in sport for overseas club to club debts

Basically they are appealing the CAS decision made in August that they have to pay the first instalment as the transfer was completed, a decision is expected on that in late January/early February 2023. They have also started legal action against their insurance broker for failing to advise them of the procedure to insure new players. If that action fails then they will apparently take legal action against those responsible for the crash including Nantes and its agents.

However I think they expect it all to be sorted out quite amicably in the next couple of months as negotiations are still ongoing between all parties.

Swansea dominate possession against a team that dominated possession against us last week, come from 3-0 to claim a point, on sky on 27th, what could possibly go wrong?

They haven't won for seven games and have exactly the same number of points as us. So we need to target the win but we won't see much of the ball.

Am kinda looking in both directions as the division is so tight.

Just seen Hull and Blackpool play each other on Boxing Day. Coventry play WBA tomorrow, a win for either takes them above us.

WBA are unsurprisingly climbing up to where their squad should have them now they’ve got Corberan in charge. Fully expect them to continue Coventry’s problem form, though will be hoping for a draw there.

Fully expecting WBA to be in the play-off spots by the end of January latest. Win tonight will see them just 2 points off.
