Seems like he's a very attacking midfielder so would probably play in a 3 in midfield, then we could only play 1 striker and 8 into 1 doesn't really go.

seems strong and quick enough to give us a little more creation in a 4 too, imo

though i agree we need to lose some strikers at least on loan- but thats needed regardless of ciwka

Sure Tim Dellor said on Saturday that we were looking at Sharp but that negotiations had stalled.

We are? Good, I like Sharp and can certainly offer him a fresh start in a club that will be chasing promotion, if not achieving it, in the next few seasons. I know from soundbites that that's what he wants as the next step in his career.

In way it would also be a good move for Doncaster in that the cash will essentially save them now that they're essentially left with just the chairman on the board and with us playing them on Saturday Billy would be able to return immediately and their fans would be able to say goodbye.

And this is the same Morrison who is on loan at Huddersfield and has the Huddersfield fans singing his praises to high heaven is it?

What I thought. I wouldn't write Morrison off yet. He just needs games to bring him up to speed and for me that's the cover we need, maybe one more if Bongani does go back to Spurs.

Rumour is Brian will be happy to leave cover in the hands of Harte and Gunnarsson if Bongani goes back... personally I hope we get someone else even if it's just a loan for the rest of the season.

In which case I have to agree with Dellor and Gooding. If we are going to push for promotion then these positions are specialist postitions and althought the likes of Harte and Gunnarsson can player there, it's not ideal and could be our downfall if we go that route.

If there are no obvious CB purchases I could see McD taking the risk and using Harte and Gunnar as cover because we can still loan players in until near the end of March I think. No doubt he will have targets in mind if either Pearce of Gorkks has a long term injury.

Think Morrison is well thought of but as a 20 year old just keeping him in the reserves will do him no good.
