Humanistic Not too bad- it's another home draw. Would have prefered Saints or Pompey, but it's still one to look forward to.

Elliott Obviously getting WBA at home is a great tie and one which we could definately set out to win... but when we got drawn out and i saw who was left, i definately wanted WBA the least out of them, Pompey and Soton. Ahh well, COME ON URZ!

rob the royalRow Z Royal The players won't raise themselves adequately against WBA; they would against a Prem oppo.
Coming out of the ground yesterday i overheard quite a few people saying it's all very well beating Premiership teams in the Cup but we need some points in the league as well. The players will be all too aware of that themselves, so the chance to play one of the 'better' (if not best) teams in the division should keep them on their toes. And as W_R said, getting through to QFs should be a pretty big incentive to raise their game.
If we win we're not just through to the QFs, it'll be a good confidence boost for the team in terms of knowing we can beat teams in our own league. It might even put out a message to teams in the Championship that we can win at home and we're not purely capable of turning up if it's Prem oppo. Unless you are right and we are in which case we will lose.
But I say quit with the negativity and see what happens on he day. Having already beaten Burnley and Liverpool I think any side that comes to us now will be wary, and i'd rather play a wary WBA than a wary Chelsea or Aston Villa. It's getting to that stage when teams like that will go all out. Unlike Liverpool who thought it was so early in the competition that they would just show up and go through.
That's how I see it anyway.

Also to add, we have some (dare i say) winnable league games coming up.
Sheff Utd (a)
Barnsley (h)
Donny (a)
Plymouth (h)
I'd say around 7+ points are available before the Baggies tie. We could really find ourselves with our tails up going into the next round!

Genuinely think we could take 9, 10 or even 12 points there. Fingers crossed.

floyd__streete This season has seen us exorcise a few FA Cup ghosts. Our win at Anfield was our first away win against top flight opposition since a 2-1 success at Notts County in 1902. Our win against Burnley was our first ever 4th round FA Cup win at the Madj. I am now looking forward to our first FA Cup win against opposition from our own division since 1992 (Orient @ EP) and then our first quarter final tie since 1927.
